Texas Governor Greg Abbott has announced that his state is ready to begin transporting illegal aliens to Washington D.C. weeks before the anticipated arrival of hundreds of thousands of migrants at the border when Title 42 is lifted.
In a Wednesday afternoon news conference, the Lone Star State Republican took the bull by the horns when he demonstrated strong and decisive leadership with tough new actions to protect Texans including the use of charter buses to relocate the surplus of illegals to an area where its part-time political residents have been their greatest champions.
Abbott says the migrants will be dropped off at the steps of the U.S. Capitol. He is fed up with the federal government mass releasing migrants into small TX cities. State officials say they are prepared to activate up to 900 buses, or “as many as needed”. @FoxNews

“To help local officials, whose communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal immigrants who have been dropped off by the Biden administration, to Washington D.C.,” Abbott said.

“We are sending them to the United States Capitol where the Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border,” he added.
Governor Abbott also tweeted, “While Biden continues to FAIL America with his open border policies, Texas is taking UNPRECEDENTED action to secure our state & country.”
He noted that there will be “Enhanced vehicle inspections @ points of entry” along with “Charter buses to send illegal immigrants to DC” as well as “Boat blockades” and perhaps more importantly, “More to come.”

The reaction to Abbott’s action drew raves on Twitter including from Texas Senator Ted Cruz who hailed the “EXCELLENT ideas” and added. “But Texas shouldn’t ONLY send charter buses of illegal aliens to DC. I filed federal legislation to ALSO send them to…” followed by a list of preferred areas of residence and leisure of the wealthy Democrat elite including, Martha’s Vineyard, MA Palo Alto, CA and Rehoboth Beach, DE, the location of Biden’s beach retreat.

Republican congressional candidate Irene Armendariz-Jackson, who hopes to flip quirky former Dem Rep. Beto O’Rourke’s old seat this year, chimed in with her own idea.

While there were overwhelmingly positive reviews from conservatives, Abbott’s announcement was a burr under the saddle for perpetually aggrieved leftists with Rolling Stone magazine whining that he has “staked his claim as the most evil governor in America” in just one example of the weeping and gnashing of teeth following the breaking of the news, and the squealing will only reach a higher pitch in the coming days.
According to a news release from the Texas governor’s office, “The State of Texas will continue to evaluate the threat posed by the end of Title 42 expulsions and announce additional action in the coming weeks to respond to the expected surge in illegal immigration.”
