Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was unapologetic concerning her heckling during the president’s State of the Union address and told Fox News host Laura Ingraham that she was proud to speak up for the 13 service members who died in Afghanistan under Joe Biden’s watch.

The congresswoman was relentlessly smeared by leftists and the media on Wednesday for calling out Biden during his speech for not mentioning the soldiers who perished in a terrorist attack at the Kabul airport during the botched U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The attack happened on Aug. 26, 2021, when an ISIS-K suicide bomber blew themselves up at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, killing the 13 service members who were helping Americans and Afghans evacuate. At least 170 Afghans were also killed in the blast. The Department of Defense claimed that the attack was “not preventable.”

“I want to remind everyone who may be concerned about me speaking up at the State of the Union that Joe Biden was 100% responsible for the deaths of the 13 brave service members we lost in Afghanistan. And last night, he took zero responsibility for it,” Boebert proclaimed on “The Ingraham Angle.”

Boebert’s outburst came as Biden was speaking about burn pits and the toxic effects on service members, using his deceased son who died of brain cancer in 2015 after serving in Iraq once again as a political prop.

“Troops in Iraq have faced in Afghanistan face many dangers … Many of the world’s fittest and best-trained warriors in the world, never the same. Headaches, numbness, dizziness, a cancer that will put them in a flag-draped coffin,” Biden said.

“You put them in, 13 of them!” Boebert shouted.

She was loudly booed by the Democrats and the media proceeded to trash the fiery congresswoman for her lack of so-called decorum. They slammed her for not respecting the president as well as tradition.

“Congresswoman, you got an enormous amount of heat,” stated Ingraham. “You were smeared in the media for breach of decorum. Why did you speak out during this speech as you did?”

“It is never wrong to stand up and speak out for moms and dads who lost their children,” Boebert replied.

“When Joe Biden started talking about flag-draped coffins, I got fired up. My mind went straight to the 13 soldiers that died in Afghanistan. The mother of one of those heroes lives in my district. She told me Joe Biden killed her son. So you’re darn right I spoke up. And if I could redo last night, I would absolutely do it again,” she told Ingraham

“The left … got upset – they attacked me for it. That’s fine. I can take it, but I will always speak the truth,” she vowed.

Biden did not mention the fallen service members once during his 70-minute speech. White House press secretary Jen Psaki justified it by lamely saying he didn’t “have the time” to address the subject. Many viewed that as yet another slap in the face to those who lost someone they loved during the terrorist attack in Afghanistan.
