Project Veritas released explosive undercover footage on Tuesday obtained by a former ESPN studio operator, Trevor Adams, that shows the network’s on-air talent expressing concerns over ESPN’s toxic work environment, anti-Trump sentiment, and “the racial sh*t that happens in here all the time.”
The whistleblower previously sent a companywide email out airing concerns shared by his coworkers as well as his own over ESPN’s workplace environment, according to Project Veritas.
Two days after that move, the police were shockingly called to Adams’s home after ESPN flagged him as a security threat over the email. While speaking with police officers, they confirmed that the company sent them as a result of the communication.
One clip from the footage shows a black woman, who works as an audio communications specialist, stating “that’s not how it is” when referring to the difference between ESPN’s workplace environment and its social justice image.
“From my experience, especially with the discrimination and the racism. I think he’s [Trevor Adams] just trying to shine light on a bigger situation, and I said, ‘I’ll back him.’ I wanted to do what he did, but I know if I would have done that, I would have been fired,’” she commented.

Adams has received a ton of support from his coworkers for coming forward over the dumpster fire that ESPN has become in recent years.
“A lot of people were cheering me on. A lot of people said, ‘We’re glad you sent this. We hope something comes of it. We don’t think it will, but we’re glad that finally, someone spoke up,’” he said, expressing surprise that ESPN would react the way it did.

SEC reporter Alyssa Lang also revealed in the video that someone behind the scenes had aggressively complained to her about three hosts on the same show all being white.
“I know the comments that have been made to me at work and the conversations that have been had in front of me at work, like, I mean just blatantly racist sh*t. Just blatantly, like, complaining to me that we have three white hosts, and I’m like, ‘What do you want me – do you want me to leave?” Lang asked.
Lead Audio Comms Specialist Nick Calabrese was featured on the video stating that “going around and accusing people of being racist is bad. It’s very bad.”
The interviewer said to him, “If you have to put a color in front of it…” Calabrese responded, “You’re being racist.” The exchange evidently had to do with references to race in ESPN’s work environment.
On-air talent Matt Schick, who has been employed by ESPN since 2012, said, “It has different connotations now,” when talking about what it’s like to tell people he works for ESPN. Then he called ESPN “a global entity of forced thought.”

Adams and at least one other undercover source accused ESPN executives of smearing them for being white, Republican, or a Trump supporter in the video. Adams has been called a ‘b*tch’ and there have been comments that reportedly involve anti-male, pro-female preferences in the workplace as well.
ESPN fired Adams shortly after Project Veritas tried to obtain a comment from ESPN’s Human Resources department, according to OutKick.
Project Veritas is claiming there is much more to come on ESPN which is part of the Walt Disney Company.
