As New York City and the nation mourned the death of 22-year-old NYPD Det. Jason Rivera, one NYC actress shocked social media with an ugly rant about street closures, calling the gathering of thousands of police officers “ridiculous.”

Jacqueline Guzman was dismissed from her theater company for the now-deleted, expletive-filled Tik Tok video, but not before disgusting a nation in mourning for a rookie cop, shot dead in an ambush while on a routine call in Harlem.

“We do not need to shut down most of Lower Manhattan because one cop died for probably doing his job incorrectly,” the unconscionably callous Guzman states. “They kill people who are under 22 every single day for no good reason, and we don’t shut down the city for them.”

Guzman then pans her camera to show the street, closed for the thousands of police officers from around the nation who came to pay their respects.

“This is f—ing ridiculous,” Guzman says. “This is f—ing ridiculous. What if someone is having a heart attack in this area? Nobody can get to them because it’s all blocked off for one f—ing cop.”

That’s all it took for Twitter to want to make the Cuban American actress, whose only credit on IMDB is for working in the wardrobe department, not just famous, but infamous.

“Let’s help it really go VIRAL,” said one user.

Twitter was happy to oblige.

Her own company, Face To Face Films & Theater, promptly shunned Guzman, posting the following statement to their Facebook account:

“Face To Face Films has just been made aware of an insensitive video involving one of our members, Jacqueline Guzman. Face to Face Films does not support nor can condone these comments made about fallen Officer Rivera. As a result, she is no longer a member of our company.”

The decision quickly made it to Twitter, where it received a standing ovation.

But that didn’t stop the outrage from flowing to the vitriolic thespian, who apparently doesn’t even know her way around the city.

Having already deleted the offensive Tik Tok post, Guzman took the only next step available to her: she closed the curtain on herself and deleted all of her social media accounts.

Meanwhile, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, “Fellow officers draped Rivera’s casket in white,” reported local news station CBS2, “as pure as the fallen hero, described as loyal and loving, with a smile that could be seen for miles.”

“In only 22 years, he found the job and the woman of his dreams. Many don’t achieve that in a lifetime,” Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell, said.

His widow, Dominique Luzuriaga, was consumed with grief when she greeted the overflowing sea of blue before her.

“I would say ‘good morning’ to you all,” she said bravely, “but in fact, it’s the worst morning ever.”

The couple were married just four months ago.
