“Walk Away” activist Brandon Straka is speaking out once again after almost a year following an FBI SWAT team barging into his home, cuffing him, and then throwing him in jail for several days following the January 6th protest.

“I hardly know where to begin. One year ago yesterday an FBI swat team came into my home at dawn, put me in handcuffs, and put me in a concrete cell for several days. This was the beginning of what has turned into a year-long nightmare fraught with mistruths, misinformation, abuse of legal process, and a savage campaign to destroy me,” Straka wrote in a letter to his followers on social media.

“It didn’t,” he defiantly added.

“Some of my comments on January 6th and the following days have been highly scrutinized and my intent speculated. In particular, one stated to “HOLD. THE. LINE.” in addressing the people at the Capitol. You should all know that I was present on the East side of the Capitol and never witnessed any of the violence taking place on the West side that day,” he stated.

“I shot video of the thousands of peaceful protesters standing on the East side singing songs and holding signs. This was the scene when I left the grounds. My statement was to encourage the thousands of peaceful protesters to stand their ground- after all, peaceful protests are still protected by our constitution, right?” Straka asked.

He went on to condemn any form of violence. The leftist media ran with headlines claiming that Straka had turned over significant information concerning the protest. That turns out not to be true. He remarked that in the three-and-a-half years he’s been involved in politics he’s never heard “ANY INFORMATION of ANY KIND about any criminal wrongdoing of any person in the MAGA movement.”

It should also be noted that Straka never went into the Capitol Building following former President Trump’s speech but, because he is an influencer and spoke at the rally, the feds threw the book at him.

Authorities claimed that he took video showing he was inciting protesters that day. He was never charged with that but he was allegedly ordered to keep quiet about the incident or face being charged with more crimes.

Straka was charged with impeding law enforcement during civil disorder, knowingly entering and remaining on restricted grounds, and disorderly conduct for his actions on January 6th. He eventually pleaded guilty to being in a restricted area outside the Capitol Building.

Conservative commentator Dinesh D’Souza vigorously defended Straka, “He did not sell out the conservative movement.”

He alluded to a video that allegedly proves Straka did not grab a Capitol Police officer’s shield and contends that he was a victim of the Biden Department of Justice and the left.

Straka was sentenced to three years probation, three months house arrest, and a $5,000 fine for the one count he pleaded guilty to by Judge Dabney L. Friedrich.

On Wednesday, the 45-year-old former hairstylist issued a statement on social media that he can once again speak out about what he has gone through. He’s on both Gettr and Rumble and plans to leave the other major leftist social media outlets which have censored him since well before January 6th took place.

Straka still has a lot of support on social media:
