Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) joined Fox News’ “Hannity” on Wednesday and offered his take on the Biden regime salivating over the news that Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer will be retiring soon.

Hawley spoke at length over a proposed bill he has authored that would restrict stock trading among members of Congress, much of which could be deemed as insider trading though it may be difficult to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.

He was then asked by host Sean Hannity about President Biden’s pronouncement that he intends to only nominate a black female justice to take Justice Breyer’s future vacancy on the bench of the highest U.S. court, to which the senator remarked:

I believe it to be typical of this administration, which has been the most race-obsessed, gender-obsessed in terms of trying to deconstruct genders, actually. I mean, this is a hard woke left administration. And so, I wasn’t surprised at all when the president said that this is what he’s going to do. Here’s what I think, Sean: It’s a real moment of truth for Joe Biden. He’s deeply unpopular. He’s been the most divisive president of my lifetime. Now he’s got a choice: Is he going to nominate a pro-America, pro-Constitution justice or is he going to keep doing what he’s been doing and divide this country with a hard woke left activist? We’re about to find out. I hope Republicans are ready to stand up for the Constitution.

In an earlier segment, Hannity spoke with famed lawyer and Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz along with legal analyst Gregg Jarrett about Biden’s commitment.

Jarrett argued that it is unconstitutional to use race and gender as a condition of employment and mentioned that Joe Biden not only graduated near the bottom of his law school class but was allegedly kicked out of it temporarily, which comes as a surprise to nobody when considering how the president routinely defies the law, preferring instead to rule by edict alone.

He added that Republicans should be careful not to demonize and smear Biden’s nomination for fear that it would label them as racists and sexists.

“Don’t do to the Democratic nominee what Democrats did to Kavanaugh and other Republican nominees,” he implored.

Likely not everyone shares that opinion, as it becomes clearer every day that the Left rarely gets defeated when the Right takes the high road.

Dershowitz, for his part, likened a nomination rooted in discrimination to a president declaring that only a Jewish person shall be chosen for a vacant seat, adding that Article VI of the U.S. Constitution specifies that “no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”

Dershowitz argued that a president should never “insult” a nominee with the implication that “you’re not the most qualified person; you’re just the most qualified black woman person.”

He fears that Biden will go for the most hard-core leftist he can find rather than the most qualified constitutionalist or even a moderate liberal, but in doing so would make confirmation very difficult in a 50/50 Senate, requiring only one Democrat senator to vote no.
