Leftists are in complete denial over President Joe Biden’s dismal approval ratings and rather than acknowledge the reality that his authoritarian style of governance and disastrous policies are at fault, some are pointing the finger of blame at a familiar scapegoat.
According to actor and musician Steven Van Zandt aka Little Steven, Biden’s unpopularity can be attributed to his not having the stones to go after and lock up his predecessor, former President Donald J. Trump and the ex-Sopranos star aired his grievances in an unhinged rant.
Van Zandt who portrayed Silvio Dante, a top soldier in Tony Soprano’s crime family and the manager of the Bada Bing strip club appeared on Sirus XM’s The Dean Obeidallah Show on Friday, where he bemoaned the nation’s discontent with Biden who merely a year into his White House term is already flirting with the worst approval ratings in history as the nation grapples with COVID, massive inflation and shortages.
According to Little Steven, Vladimir Putin’s Russia will likely march into Ukraine and China will launch a hostile takeover of Taiwan because “we’re pussies” and they know it, adding that “we got the biggest criminal in the world running around playing golf, we can’t even arrest him.”

When asked for his take on the so-called “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol and the former president’s not being criminally charged for instigating it, Van Zandt didn’t hold anything back.
“We’re living in an asylum, ok, we are living in an insane asylum right now…ok, If you.. if you commit your crimes in broad daylight then it’s OK,” he said, “I can make a case right now that this guy is guilty of treason 10 times over, but he’s on videotape saying go down, overthrow the government,” repeating the big lie that a disorganized ragtag group of protesters were actually capable of seizing control of the entire U.S. Government.
In claiming that Trump was captured on video telling supporters to go overthrow the government, Van Zandt showcased how little he actually knows — or how far he’s willing to twist the facts.
“Now, you know why do I care about McCarthy’s emails, you know what I mean, who gives a sh*t?” he added. “The guy is a criminal in a criminal empire and the more, the bigger his crimes the more public they are, the more he gets away with it.”
He continued, “And this is why Biden’s approval rating is so low, okay, it’s not because of “Build Back Better” right, you know… which is what they think, It’s not because of that,” as he downplayed the idea that Biden’s efforts to cram his controversial signature legislative package down the throats of Americans has contributed to his freefalling ratings.
“It’s because America respects strength you know and they’ll even take it from a phony buffoon, blowhard like Trump who’s not strong but he pretends to be strong so they even go with that,” Van Zandt said, “but America respects strength, that’s why Biden has no approval rating because you’ve got the biggest criminal in the world running around playing golf, he’s a criminal and he should be in jail and that’s why the whole world no longer respects us.”
He added, “I will be very surprised if Putin does not invade Ukraine, I will be very surprised if China does not invade Taiwan, why shouldn’t they? They know we’re pussies -we’re pussies! We got the biggest criminal in the world running around playing golf, we can’t even arrest him.”
Van Zandt also took to Twitter to wail in frustration about the Democrats’ stalled “voting rights” bills that would effectively allow them to manipulate elections, permanently cementing their place in control of the D.C. spoils system.

In addition to his gig on The Sopranos, Little Steven spent decades as a guitarist for fellow Trump hating liberal Bruce Springsteen as a member of the E Street Band. The “Boss” has been a vocal critic of Trump and last year co-hosted the Renegades: Born in the USA podcast with Barack Obama where two of the biggest stars in the leftist galaxy discussed their lives, music and vision for America.
While it is understandable for Democrats who placed their faith in a geriatric gaffe machine as their savior only to watch his presidency crash and burn right out of the gate to be flustered, it is lost on folks like Van Zandt that arresting and jailing political opponents is something that is commonplace in third-world dictatorships and not something that is consistent with American values and such suggestions only make it clear that that all of their rhetoric about saving “democracy” is hogwash.
