Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is being slammed in the media once again for her hypocrisy– this time after a maskless outing to Florida, when her home state of New York remains under strict coronavirus regulations– but critics aren’t solely coming after Ocasio-Cortez for her elitist embrace of ‘rules for thee and not for me,’ they’re also embarrassed by her juvenile response to the ordeal.

Political commentator Candace Owens took issue with Ocasio-Cortez’s bizarre retort on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Monday evening.

“Listen, I saw this, and I actually couldn’t believe my eyes. And I tried to create a sober analysis of what made her tweet that,” Owens said, as she continued on, reading AOC’s tweets aloud.

“She’s really actually creating a sexual narrative, and in my sober analysis, I believe that she wasn’t sober,” Owens asserted.

The political commentator blasted AOC’s response as illogical.

“How bizarre and immature is it for any person who wants to be taken seriously as an adult to look at a fair critique of them as an elected official who has been barking about how Florida is doing everything wrong, about how bad Ron DeSantis is, to see this critique and offer back ‘well, you know what, you just want to sleep with me.’ I mean what are we even talking about?”

Owens pointed out that if a male lawmaker were to take this defense, they would be lambasted.

“Imagine any male did this, an elected official. Imagine if Rand Paul gets a critique or any other person, even Joe Biden. If Joe Biden was critiqued and they said ‘sir, how can you say this about climate change’ and his response was ‘well, you just want to sleep with me.’ It’s so bratty and it’s so immature and it’s so disgusting to even think about,” Owens said.

“And let me just say this in case there’s any confusion. I have a lot of critiques of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I’ve had a lot critiques since the very beginning. No Sandy, I do not want to sleep with you,” the political commentator added in jest.

On Monday, “Outnumbered” co-host and former Trump administration press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, bashed the congresswoman for her “middle school” response to critics who chided Democrats’ flippancy over mask mandates despite their strict imposition on their constituents.

It’s not just AOC’s disregard for her own arbitrary rules that McEnany took issue with, but how the congresswoman’s defense took a bizarre, sexual turn after former Newsmax host Steve Cortes ripped her boyfriend’s footwear choice in a photo snapped of the pair in Miami.

“You’re a sitting United States congresswoman in the United States House of Representatives. You represent nearly 700,000 people. You are the titular head of the left, an important and powerful wing of the Democrat Party, and you are engaging in juvenile behavior, saying Republicans are mad they cannot date me? Come on now,” McEnany said in disbelief.

“Tweet something befitting of your position as a United States congresswoman, not this juvenile behavior that I think a middle schooler would engage in. Not, again, a sitting congresswoman,” the former press secretary continued.

McEnany pointed to Florida’s embrace of freedom, a stark contrast from New York’s continued stringent lockdown measures, as the reason so many Americans flocked to the state during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It was a remarkable contest during COVID-19 when I would travel to New York and then come to Florida and see the contrast of people outside, living their life, walking in the sun, going to the beach versus New York City where AOC hails from, where kids who are five years old have to sit outside and eat in the cold if they are not vaccinated,” the “Outnumbered” co-host stated.

“If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet. Ya creepy weirdos,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted in response to Cortes’ criticisms last Friday.

“It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women,& LGBT+ people in general. These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird,” the congresswoman added.
