After keeping it under the radar for a year, it’s finally confirmed that Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle are engaged.
The eldest son of former President Donald Trump reportedly popped the question on New Year’s Eve – but in 2020. The couple have been keeping the news quiet as they made major changes in their lives, including moving from New York, the Daily Mail reported.
“Don and Kim got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2020 — which is Don’s birthday. They’ve been together for almost four years now and have been friends for 15 years,” sources confirmed to the website.
“They’ve kept it private for the past year as they settled into life in Florida after moving from New York,’ the source added. ‘Both are focused on their children – they have six between them – and their work.”
Questions began swirling after Guilfoyle, 52, was seen wearing an impressive diamond ring in a photo she shared on Instagram on New Year’s Day, which was Trump Jr.’s 44th birthday.

“Tonight was extra special celebrating @donaldjtrumpjr’s birthday,” she wrote in the caption to the photo of the couple standing before a Christmas tree. “Don, you are strong, smart, courageous, funny and the love of my life. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together. Love you.”
The couple was seen celebrating New Year’s Eve at the former president’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

“The couple plan on living in Jupiter, Florida in a new home after finally offloading Guilfoyle’s apartment in Manhattan for $4.4 million and their $8.1 million Hamptons home,” Daily Mail reported.
Trump Jr. began dating Guilfoyle in 2018 after his ex-wife, Vanessa, – with whom he shares five children – filed for divorce. Guilfoyle has one son from a former marriage to Eric Villency, which ended in 2009. with whom she shares one son, from 2006 to 2009. Before that, the former Fox News host was also married to Gavin Newsom, who is currently the governor of California.

“It’s been an open secret for the past 12 months with everyone Kim runs into admiring her almost 8 carat diamond engagement ring,’ a friend told Daily Mail in reference to the engagement. “The chatter about the engagement has increased since the engagement ring was seen on Don and Kim’s Instagram accounts on New Year’s Eve.”
