Leftists lost it entirely after Fox News host Tucker Carlson spoke with conservative talk radio host Jesse Kelly about diversity in the military and asked him exactly how having more gender advisors would help our forces when it comes to confronting communist China.

Liberals were quick to decry what they called racist, sexist, and homophobic comments by Kelly, who voiced an opinion that millions of Americans share, namely that our military doesn’t need more diversity. It needs men who are willing to fight the communist Chinese and win that war.

Carlson began the segment by playing a clip of Adm. Christopher Grady, who was appointed vice-chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on Dec. 17. Grady proclaimed that he would “value working with the military’s gender advisors if confirmed,” according to Rolling Stone. Considering the current state of our military and our adversarys’ capabilities on the battlefield, that hardly seems as if it should be of paramount importance for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

“This guy claims to be an admiral,” Carlson stated. “The question really is: Will the gender advisors [who] Christopher Grady is in favor of make our military better?”

That was when Carlson brought Kelly into the fray and asked him if more gender advisers would help the U.S. military counter China. He is now “under fire” for supposedly controversial comments on women and gays in the military.

“Oh, there’s no question, Tucker,” Kelly sarcastically replied. The conservative went on to point out that China and Russia have developed hypersonic missiles that can “turn New York City to ash,” while Russia has satellites “that can push our satellites out of orbit and cripple our military.”

There is plenty of evidence to support Kelly’s statements concerning hypersonic weapons and satellites.

China tested a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile in August that circled the globe before speeding towards its target, demonstrating an advanced space capability that caught US intelligence totally by surprise, according to the Financial Times.

Taylor Fravel, who is an expert on Chinese nuclear weapons policy, was unaware of the test. He asserted that a hypersonic glide vehicle armed with a nuclear warhead could help China “negate” US missile defense systems which are designed to destroy incoming ballistic missiles.

“Hypersonic glide vehicles… fly at lower trajectories and can maneuver in flight, which makes them hard to track and destroy,” claimed Fravel, who is also a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The Russians also just launched an anti-satellite test in November and are actively working on weaponry used in space, according to Space.com.

“Our military, though, they’re focused on the important things,” Kelly snarkily continued during the segment. “We want to focus on climate change, and we definitely have to make sure there are enough tampons in the restrooms at the Pentagon.”

“That’s kind of what they’re saying,” Carlson replied. “There’s a psychological term for this… where there’s a massive real threat that you can’t deal with, so you scurry off and deal with imaginary threats to make yourself feel in control. That kind of feels like what we’re watching.”

“Well, what we’re watching is the destruction of the U.S. military. And what we’re gonna end up seeing, Tucker, is thousands, tens of thousands, maybe hundreds thousands of Americans die. Those are the stakes of the game we’re playing here,” Kelly responded.

“We don’t need a military that’s woman-friendly. We don’t need a military that’s gay-friendly, with all due respect to the Air Force. We need a military that’s flat-out hostile. We need a military full of Type A men who want to sit on a throne of Chinese skulls, but we don’t have that now. We can’t even get women off of naval vessels. That should be step one, but most of them are already pregnant anyway,” he bluntly posited.

Kelly’s apparent point is that instead of the military focusing on diversity so much, they might want to make strong soldiers instead who are capable of going to war, killing the enemy, breaking things, and coming home.
