Days after President Joe Biden asked Americans “what’s the big deal” in his push for vaccines, Fox News’ Peter Doocy tried to get some clearer answers about the mandates.
During Thursday’s press briefing, he questioned Deputy White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about the president’s insistence that vaccinated people can’t spread the coronavirus.
“Why is President Biden telling people, still, that the vaccinated cannot spread Covid?” Doocy asked.
“Can you say more?” Jean-Pierre responded, appearing confused by his question.
“In a local interview on Tuesday, he said, ‘How about making sure you’re vaccinated so you do not spread the disease to anybody else?’ The CDC says people who get vaccine breakthrough infections can be contagious,” Doocy recounted Biden’s words.
“I didn’t hear this interview so I would have to see it in its full context,” Jean-Pierre replied.
“What I know and what the President believes is that we have to listen to the science. We have to listen to our public health officials. And that’s what the President believes,” she added.
The president had tied getting vaccinated with patriotism during his recorded remarks to Americans earlier this week.

“People who get vaccine breakthrough infections can be contagious,” the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention noted last month.
Twitter users tore into Jean-Pierre’s response to Doocy’s question and the administration’s continued pushing of mandates despite vaccinations.
Boy…she couldn’t run away from that question any faster

Science evolves based on facts. If a vaccinated person spreads COVID (and we know for a FACT they do) then science must adjust to known fact. I don’t need a public health official to tell me that.

So, he’s lying about the science. Thanks for confirming
