President Joe Biden apocalyptically warned unvaccinated Americans on Thursday that they are facing a winter of “severe illness and death” due to the Omicron variant while asking the Supreme Court to reinstate vaccine mandates for healthcare workers at hospitals receiving federal funding.

“It’s here now and it’s spreading and it’s going to increase,” Biden dramatically warned concerning the COVID-19 variant while meeting with his coronavirus response team. “For unvaccinated we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death if you’re unvaccinated for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they will soon overwhelm.”

“But, there’s good news,” he disingenuously wheedled. “If you’re vaccinated and have your booster shot you’re protected from severe illness and death.”

“We’re gonna protect our economic recovery. If we do this, we’re gonna keep schools and businesses open … and I want to see everyone around enjoy that. I want to see them enjoy the fact that they’re able to be in school, that businesses are open and the holidays are coming,” he continued with what sounded suspiciously like a threat.

The G7 called the variant the “biggest current threat to global public health” on Thursday. They claim its emergence means that it is “more important than ever” for countries to closely cooperate and share data which, in turn, sounds like global totalitarianism to many.

CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky commented on Wednesday that she is expecting reports that Omicron is spreading across the United States to arrive on her desk within days. But many already know the virus is spreading across the nation and media outlets are reporting that it is far more transmissible than Delta but much less virulent. The death count for the variant worldwide is reportedly in the single digits so far. Britain just reported its first death due to the variant.

Omicron is said to have incredibly mild symptoms and reportedly thrives in the throat rather than the lungs, according to Reuters.

The variant has been found in at least 36 states. According to state data, it’s estimated that approximately 3 percent of COVID cases are now from Omicron.

A number of health officials believe that Omicron may indicate that the pandemic is transitioning into an endemic. One expert called initial studies “the ideal situation for a virus.” It is possible that, in the end, the virus may be on a par with the flu although it is likely to be with us from here on out.

Dr. Adam Koppel, who is the managing director of Bain Capital Life Sciences, told the Massachusetts High Technology panel on Tuesday that if projections are correct and Omicron becomes the dominant strain, it will “enable us to more quickly get to an endemic state as opposed to a pandemic state where we can live more regularly with the virus more similar to the flu than what COVID has looked like,” according to the Boston Herald.

Although the news on Omicron appears to be heartening, Biden is predicting death and doom because many Americans refuse to get vaccinated against COVID or take boosters being pushed by the government.

At the same time that Biden is predicting that COVID will lay waste to unvaccinated Americans this winter, he is requesting that the Supreme Court reinstate his COVID mandate for healthcare workers at hospitals receiving federal funding.

This follows court after court shooting down COVID mandates that Biden tried to strongarm Americans with. Now, he’s attempting to use federal funding as leverage.

Employees at healthcare facilities that receive Medicare or Medicaid funds were previously ordered by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to institute a mask mandate. Many lawsuits were filed after that move by the administration.

Even worse for Biden and his vaccine proponents, federal judges in Louisiana and Missouri issued rulings that blocked the federal public health mandate in 24 states.

The Biden administration filed an appeal requesting that the Supreme Court lift such rulings while COVID cases continue. Justice Brett Kavanaugh is set to rule on the cases, given their geographic location. That may be bad news for Biden.

“In response to an unprecedented pandemic that has killed 800,000 Americans, the Secretary of Health and Human Services exercised his express statutory authority to protect the health and safety of Medicare and Medicaid patients by requiring healthcare facilities that choose to participate in those programs to ensure that their staff are vaccinated (subject to medical and religious exemptions),” the Biden administration argued in their appeal.

“That requirement will save hundreds or even thousands of lives each month, and the Eleventh Circuit has held that it is a valid exercise of the Secretary’s authority,” the appeal added.

Americans are not buying Biden’s doom and gloom:
