Melania Trump is hoping to make an impact on the lives of children as she announced an exciting new venture with the launch of her non-fungible token (NFT) platform Thursday.
The former first lady hopes to continue her commitment to children and the arts with the powerful new undertaking which will regularly offer collectors unique NFTs exclusively on MelaniaTrump.com.
“I am proud to announce my new NFT endeavor, which embodies my passion for the arts, and will support my ongoing commitment to children through my Be Best initiative,” Mrs. Trump said in a statement.
“Through this new technology-based platform, we will provide children computer science skills, including programming and software development, to thrive after they age out of the foster community,” she added.
“Melania’s Vision,” the first of the NFTs to be released, can be purchased for a limited time period between December 16 and December 31, 2021 and features a striking work of art capturing the eyes of the Slovene-American former model and the wife of President Donald Trump.
With her background as a fashion model and then as a successful businesswoman, Melania Trump continued to inspire with her breathtaking fashion sense and poise as America’s first lady. She continues her post-White House initiatives with the current enterprise.
According to a press release from her office, the new artwork being released is “a breathtaking watercolor art by Marc-Antoine Coulon, and embodies Mrs. Trump’s cobalt blue eyes, providing the collector with an amulet to inspire.”

“Melania’s Vision” is currently listed for sale for about $186 and the limited edition piece comes with an audio recording from Mrs. Trump “with a message of hope.”
“My vision is: look forward with inspiration, strength, and courage,” she says in the message.
“Mrs. Trump will release NFTs in regular intervals, with a one-of-a-kind auction of historical importance scheduled in January 2022, including three elements: digital artwork, physical artwork, and a physical one-of-a-kind accessory,” the press release notes.
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have been around since 2014 but are increasingly becoming a popular – and profitable – way to buy and sell digital artwork, according to Forbes which notes that since November 2017, $174 million has been spent on NFTs.
“An NFT is a digital asset that represents real-world objects like art, music, in-game items and videos. They are bought and sold online, frequently with cryptocurrency, and they are generally encoded with the same underlying software as many cryptos,” Forbes noted.
The items are usually either limited or one-of-a-kind, as “Melania’s Vision,” and while others may be able to view the work. an NFT allows a buyer to own the original piece. Collectors can also boast proof of ownership as NFTs come with built-in authentication.
Melania Trump’s NFT endeavor has a definitive goal.
Part of the proceeds from the sale of the collection will be used toward supporting children who are aging out of the foster care system. Recipients will be provided with the economic empowerment necessary for successful futures as they receive more access to resources helping them excel in the fields of computer science and technology.
While in the White House, Mrs. Trump launched her children’s well-being initiative, Be Best, in 2018. The platform focused, among other things, on cyberbullying and the protection of children online.
The Solana blockchain protocol will be utilized by the new Melania Trump NFT platform which will be powered by Parler. SOL cryptocurrency and credit card payments will be accepted through MoonPay.
