Ex-con Darrell Brooks, who allegedly plowed his red SUV through a Wisconsin Christmas parade, appeared to weep while appearing in court on Tuesday facing charges of six homicides following the passing of an eight-year-old boy whom he struck during the incident.

Brooks, 39, reportedly has an extensive rap sheet that is over 50 pages long. He is being held on a $5 million bond.

There is no death penalty in Wisconsin so if he is convicted, he will spend the rest of his life behind bars. Each homicide charge he faces carries a potential sentence of life without parole.

“There are no words to describe the risk that this defendant presents to our community,” prosecutor Susan Opper bluntly told Waukesha County Court Commissioner Kevin Costello in court.

“Not only flight risk but the dangerousness that he presents, his history of violence and the allegations in this complaint where it is stated plainly that on several occasions he was told to stop by police officers,” she asserted. “They risked their own safety to try and step in front of the car to stop him.”

“Everything was done to get him to stop, and he just simply continued down the roadway causing death and destruction in his path,” Opper stated.

Brooks is facing charges that include six counts of first-degree intentional homicide following the massacre on Sunday that also left 62 injured. His sixth victim is Jackson Sparks, who was only eight years old. He succumbed to his injuries Tuesday in the hospital.

His other victims are Virginia Sorenson, 79; Leana ‘Lee’ Owen, 71; Tamara Durand, 52; Jane Kulich, 52; and Wilhelm Hospel, 82.

“I wish to notify the court sadly that today we learned of another death of a child related to this case,” Opper announced. “We do expect a sixth count for first-degree intentional homicide to be issued, or added, excuse me, to this case.”

“I can advise the court that I am aware … that there are other individuals in critical condition,” she added referring to at least five other children in critical condition.

Brooks was comforted by his attorney as he bowed his head and appeared to weep while his criminal record was recited.

The rapper was reportedly fleeing a domestic disturbance according to police when he barreled past police barricades and plowed into the parade at high speed, mowing down marchers and spectators in his wake.

His victims include members of the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies and a young dance troupe. The Grannies said they lost three members in the horrific incident.

According to a criminal complaint, Brooks “had no emotion on his face” as he slammed into the parade.

Two police officers reportedly attempted to stop the SUV. They yelled at Brooks and one of them banged on the hood as it flew by, getting thrown by the vehicle in the process. One of the officers “heard tires squeal” as the vehicle turned into the crowd according to the complaint.

“At this point, it was clear to Officer (Bryce) Butryn that this was an intentional act to strike and hurt as many people as possible,” the complaint went on to note.

Brooks was caught trying to take refuge in a nearby home. NBC News reported that the altercation and police taking him into custody were caught on video.

He reportedly used the same vehicle to drive over his girlfriend recently and was released on “inappropriately low” bail in that case.

“The allegations in that case, your honor, is that he struck the mother of his child in the face with a closed fist, and then as she was walking away from him he intentionally ran her over with his vehicle,” Opper informed the court.

“The vehicle in that matter … is believed to be the same maroon 2010 Ford Escape used in the allegations in this case,” she added.

In court on Tuesday, Opper noted that Brooks’ lengthy criminal record spans three states: Wisconsin, Nevada, and Georgia, including bail-jumping, resisting arrest, and obstruction.

Costello concluded that the parade attack “seems to be a very strong case for the state.”

“I’m an old guy who has been doing this for almost 40 years,” he said. “DA’s office, criminal defense attorney, 17, 18 years as a commissioner both in Milwaukee and now in Waukesha.”

“The nature of this offense is shocking,” Costello commented. “I’ve not seen anything like this in my very long career.”

A now-deleted Facebook account that allegedly belonged to Brooks encouraged knocking “white ppl [the f**k] out” and also appeared to support the Black Hebrew Israelites, according to the Daily Mail.

No one is buying Brooks’ tears:
