An Illinois Democrat who was clearly bitter over the outcome of the Kyle Rittenhouse case mocked the horrific incident in Waukesha, Wisconsin, using the victims to sarcastically voice her displeasure with the teen being found not guilty for defending himself against attacking rioters last year.
Mary Lemanski, the now-former social media director of the Democratic Party of DuPage County, Ill., took to Twitter with a series of cruel, heartless comments after a black man driving a large SUV sped through barricades and ran over scores of people marching in a Christmas parade, including children as young as 3 years old. In all, five people were killed and another 40 injured, as video appears to show the suspect, Darrell E. Brooks Jr., a Milwaukee man with a long criminal history, intentionally running over people.
(The established media narrative, as illogical as it may sound, is that Brooks was fleeing from an earlier altercation that may have involved a knife.)
On Monday morning, Lemanski “was let go from her position,” the Chicago Tribune reported, citing Ken Mejia-Beal, chairman of the DuPage Democratic Party, who called the tweets “callous and reprehensible posts.” For what it’s worth, Lemanski tweeted that she resigned.
“We don’t applaud or celebrate tragedy,” Meija-Beal said. “This was a tragedy. These were folks that were out at a joyous occasion having a great time at a beautiful and festive time of the year. We, as a party, disavow Mary’s Twitter comments, the sentiment behind them. We are with the victims of this tragedy.”
The county party released a statement online disavowing Lemanski’s tweets, adding: “Our organization does not support hate in any form.”

Just how hateful were the tweets?
An early offering read: “It was probably just self-defense,” with the hashtags “Wisconsin” and “KyleRittenhouse.”
That callous remark would prove to be tame compared to other remarks tweeted — it appears that Lemanski has since deleted her entire account.
Conservative journalist Andy Ngô kept the receipts on her despicable actions, sharing additional screengrabs that included a remark about karma being served in Wisconsin.
“I’m sad. I’m sad anytime anyone dies. I just believe in Karma and this came around quick on the citizens of Wisconsin,” the Democrat tweeted — Waukesha is located just 55 miles north of Kenosha.
In another comment, Lemanski described herself as “someone who believes in reaping what you sow. Wisconsin put that bad energy out there. It came back real fast.”
As for small children being among the victims, she inhumanly said they, too, have blood on their hands over the Rittenhouse acquittal, as inconceivable as that may sound.
“The blood of Kyle Rittenhouse’s victims is on the hands of Wisconsin citizens, even the children,” she tweeted.

In tweeting that she resigned from the party, Lemanski characterized her vile actions as making “some remarks that were not in good taste.”
“I firmly believe in the right to freedom of speech. I also believe that you must be willing to accept responsibility and the consequences of your actions for that free speech. I unfortunately made some remarks that were not in good taste regarding the Waukesha tradgedy (sic) yesterday,” she said in her statement.
