Trump admin alum Amanda Milius obliterates David Brooks, leftist media dishonesty in epic thread

Former Trump administration official and filmmaker Amanda Milius profanely and righteously vented her outrage at leftist New York Times journalist David Brooks and the media in general over dishonestly misquoting her.

Milius simply obliterated not only David Brooks but the mainstream media for their duplicity in an eye-popping Twitter thread reported by Twitchy.

Milius didn’t hold back, not even a little — *Caution: Adult Language.

“The corrupt disgustingly vile @nytdavidbrooks, as with all journalists, has to distort and lie about what I say in order to reduce me to your vision of dumb right wing nut job. David, you elderly queer, this is a complete and total misrepresentation of what I said,” she fired off.

“You’re going to lecture me about a movie I was raised on, wrote about for half my life, sat for hours of discussion at the knee of my genius father about, along w my brother ETHAN WHOS NAMED AFTER THE FUCKING MOVIE, and you, amateur film theorist midwit, are going to dishonestly stage talking about movies. WHY WOULD THAT BE?” she heatedly asked.

“Bc you guys aren’t allowed to even shit on my documentary bc I’m right and your entire industry was wrong and you never ever want anyone to hear about it. I challenge you to an infinity length debate about any movie of your choice, you unimpressive cowardly eunuch. If a right wing journalist made such distorted and reductive comments about a BIPOC left wing trans director at a conference you’d be fired for blatant misogyny,” Milius added.

“Stick to your usual beat of finding new ways to advocate for the destruction of the western world you pathetic piece of human garbage. Learn to code, a–hole,” she colorfully concluded.

Milius has the number one documentary on Amazon right now called “The Plot Against The President.”

According to Milius, it is “the true story of Congressman Devin Nunes and his team as they uncover an FBI counterintelligence operation to bring down the White House in The Plot Against the President. This documentary reveals the tactics of high-ranking political conspirators who falsified a dossier to use against Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.”

Her father is legendary screenwriter John Milius, famous for “Apocalypse Now,” as well as  “Conan the Barbarian,” and a long list of other blockbuster films.

David Brooks, writing for The Atlantic, sought to disparage Milius and her conservative cinematic lineage.

“Another speaker, Amanda Milius, is the daughter of John Milius, who was the screenwriter for the first two Dirty Harry films and Apocalypse Now. She grew up in L.A. and wound up in the Trump administration. She argued that America needs to get back to making self-confident movies like The Searchers, the 1956 John Ford Western. This was an unapologetic movie, she asserted, about how Americans tamed the West and how Christian values got brought to ‘savage, undeveloped land,'” he began referring to conservative conference Milius spoke at before attempting to trash her and conservatives in general.

“This is about as dumb a reading of The Searchers as it’s possible to imagine. The movie is actually the modern analogue to the Oresteia, by Aeschylus. The complex lead figure, played by John Wayne, is rendered barbaric and racist while fighting on behalf of westward pioneers. By the end, he is unfit to live in civilized society,” Brooks ridiculously posited.

“But we don’t exactly live in an age that acknowledges nuance. Milius distorts the movie into a brave manifesto of anti-woke truths—and that sort of distortion has a lot of buyers among this crowd,” he stated, looking to offend every conservative in the country as well as Milius.

Her tweeted response was unarguably understandable following statements such as these from Brooks.
