Claws came out on “The View” Tuesday as co-host Sunny Hostin viciously attacked former colleague Jedediah Bila for espousing what she called vaccine “misinformation” after Bila explained why she is refusing to get the jab.

Co-host Joy Behar got the bashing started, “Okay, Jed. Let’s address the elephant in the room because you were supposed to join us in the studio weeks ago. But you couldn’t because ABC has a very strict policy. You can’t get into this building unless you’re fully vaccinated.”

Bila explained that her “story is a little bit unique,” claiming she has a “medical exemption” approved by her specialist. She also asserted that she has “sky-high, multi-tier, multi-faceted natural immunity” and that the “vaccine poses a greater risk than benefit” to her.

“I’m also not a risk to any of you,” she declared. “My point about all of this is I am not anti-vax. What I really want is for people to make these decisions for themselves.”

Hostin attempted to shred Bila for her vaccine stance, “You know what, Jed. 762,000 people have died from COVID, including [my] in-laws.” Hostin was referring to her husband’s parents. “We have been friends a long time… but I don’t understand why you would prioritize your personal freedom over the health and safety of others.

Hostin then added: “I don’t think we should allow this kind of misinformation on our website.”

Then she invoked the U.S. Surgeon General and claimed that he had “debunked” everything that Bila said about the vaccines and natural immunity. While Bila attempted to respond, Hostin once again said she didn’t think “we should allow this kind of misinformation on our air.”

The attacks were not what Bila expected as she had come on “The View” to promote her new book.

Bila is opposed to vaccine mandates as millions of Americans are. She believes it is up to the individual to decide, not the government.

“My point about all of this is I am not anti-vax,” she commented. “I want every one of you to sit with your family members to sit with your trusted doctors and say, ‘What is the best decision for me?’”

She noted that the vaccines are meant to prevent the virus from being more severe than it could be without vaccination but then added that it does not prevent you from catching COVID or giving it to others.

“Oh my goodness. That’s not so. You have been at Fox TV too long,” Behar shrieked.

Bila plowed on and stated that the CDC director and other experts have acknowledged that vaccinated people can transmit COVID. “That is why masks were reinstated for people that are vaccinated,” she remarked. “They said transmission is going to be a thing for vaccinated and unvaccinated people.”

The former Fox personality was forced to state that she was “not opposed to the vaccine” over and over again.
