Conservative political commentator Candace Owens stepped up in defense of rapper Kanye West on “Fox News Primetime” Friday for addressing the issue of abortion and his contention that it is real genocide against black Americans.

Speaking with host Rachel Campos-Duffy, Owens praised West for speaking out on abortion in an interview on the “Drink Champs” Revolt TV podcast, stating that Kanye West was very adamant about the issue and right to talk about it publically.

“We are still inside of our genocide. Fifty percent of all black deaths a year is abortion,” West stated. “Plan B was created by Margaret Sanger with the KKK for black population control.”

“You know I’ve spoken to Kanye at length about this in person. This is something that he is very strong on and he’s actually very correct on,” Owens commented.

“You know, I’ve spoken about this often, you see so often the left and the liberals talking about Black Lives Matter, but when you mention abortion to them, they suddenly get very shy and very quiet. They don’t want to discuss it because the statistics are staggering. That’s some real data that we can actually take a look at,” she remarked.

“It is true that the black population would be double what it is today if it wasn’t for abortion. It is true that Planned Parenthood was founded by a eugenicist, who did not want black people to procreate. So, quite frankly, Margaret Sanger, she was a success story. She created Planned Parenthood, and she wanted to target people that she saw as not wanting to be reproduced in this society, and black people were targeted. It has been successful, so Kanye West is right to continue to beat the drum and to draw attention to this issue.”

West has previously spoken out on the issue of abortion. He got very emotional over it in 2020 and cried over the potential abortion of his first-born child.

“I cried at the thought of aborting my first born and everyone was so concerned about me… I’m concerned for the world that feels you shouldn’t cry about this subject,” he tweeted.

His comments on the subject followed a campaign stop in 2020 where he wept while discussing how he and his wife considered abortion. The emotional display prompted speculation concerning his psychological health. His wife at the time, Kim Kardashian West, posted a video discussing his struggle with bipolar disorder.

In another tweet, West retweeted an article from the New York Post on eugenicist Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood concerning abortion.

“Over 22,500,000 black babies have been aborted over the past 50 years,” West also tweeted.

It’s unknown exactly how many black babies have been aborted since the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade. In 2015. The Center for Urban Renewal submitted congressional testimony claiming that 19 million black babies have been aborted since then.

Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood. The leftist organization reportedly aborted more than 354,000 unborn babies in America last year. The eugenicist described certain groups of people as “human weeds,” “reckless breeders” and “morons” “who never should have been born.”
