Master troller Winsome Sears challenges Joy Reid to a throw-down: ‘Let’s see if she is woman enough’

Winsome Sears, the black Jamaican immigrant and proud Republican who this week became the first black female to ever be elected lieutenant governor in the state of Virginia, went on a post-win rampage Wednesday targeting the GOP’s bitter haters.

From the discredited Lincoln Project to former ESPN host Jemele Hill and current MSNBC host Joy Reid, Sears aimed her fire at those who’ve sought to paint the Republican Party as a racist organization equivalent to the Klan.

The brutal rampage included a tweet aimed at the Lincoln Project, which last week had tried to smear Virginia Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin, a Republican, with a literal race-baiting false flag operation involving Democrats dressed up as white supremacists.

“It’s a bad day to be @ProjectLincoln 😭,” she tweeted.

Ouch, though one could argue it was factually inaccurate — after all, it’s been a bad day, week, month, year, and pretty much life for the humiliated propaganda group.

Sears’ rampage also included a tweet mocking Hill, a professional race-baiter who’d responded to the GOP’s success in Virginia by tweeting that America “loves white supremacy.”

In a searing response Wednesday afternoon, no pun intended, the proud black Republican fact-checked the former ESPN host by sharing a picture of herself and writing, “We beg to differ.”

The newly-elected Virginia lieutenant governor saved her fiercest criticism for Reid, a woman who nearly every single day uses her platform at MSNBC to smear Republicans as “dangerous insurrectionists” and “racists.”

Tuesday was no different.

“You have to be willing to vocalize that these Republicans are dangerous. That this isn’t a party that’s just another political party that disagrees with us on tax policy,” she announced from her bully pulpit after Youngkin was declared the winner of the gubernatorial race.

“That at this point, they’re dangerous. They’re dangerous to our national security because stoking that kind of soft, white nationalism eventually leads to the hardcore stuff,” she added.

During an appearance on Fox News’ “The Story” the following day, Sears once again begged to differ.

“I wish Joy Reid would invite me on her show. Let’s see if she is woman enough to do that. I would go in a heartbeat, and we will have a real discussion without Joy speaking about me behind my back,” she said.

“She talks about white supremacy. Does she know that I ran against a white supremacist? Joy, come on. Get your facts straight and then come talk to me,” she added.

The “white supremacist” she’d referenced was current Virginia Gov. Ralph “Coonman” Northam, a Democrat known for his prior black face antics.

As of Thursday morning, Reid had not yet invited Sears onto her show. It appeared she was too busy arguing that it’s a “white supremacist lie” to say that America offers people the opportunity to rise up by their own bootstraps.

Incidentally, Sears also pushed back against this narrative while on Fox News’ “The Story.”

“I am destroying all of the narratives about race. Look at me! Look at me! I am a heartbeat away from the governorship, in case anything happens to the governor. How are you going to tell me I am a victim? And I didn’t do anything special to get here, except stay in school and study. I took advantage of the opportunities available here in America,” she said.

“I remember when I was wanting to go to college, I had 3 children under 5. My husband took a lower-paying job to stay home because he already had his degree. I put one of my children on the back of a bicycle to get to college. No one can say I don’t know what it is to be poor. You are looking at the American dream! So, we can do better. It’s not 1963 when my father came at the height of the civil rights movement, 17 days before Martin Luther King Junior gave his ‘I have a dream’ speech,” she added.

Sears also made this point during her victory speech Tuesday evening:

“There are some who want to divide us and we must not let that happen. They would like us to believe we are back in 1963 when my father came. We can live where we want, we can eat where want — we own the water fountains. We’ve had a black president elected not once but twice, and here I am living proof,” she said.

During an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity” late Wednesday, Sears begged Democrats to stop forcing black people to vote a certain way.

“Just leave us alone. If you want to vote Democrat, then do so. You want to vote libertarian, do so. Whatever you want to be, be it. This is America, this is freedom. Who died and left you in charge of all of us as black people so that we could be corralled into doing what you want us to do?” she said.

“I thought you said that you were the tolerant folks. If you are tolerant, that means you allow other ideas to percolate. You don’t want just ideas that you agree with, because then, you see, we wouldn’t be living in America, we would be living in a totally different country. Nobody wants that,” she added.

Well, one could argue that such a homogeneous, sterilized nation is exactly what the modern Democrat Party wants …
