Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback and self-styled social justice messiah Colin Kaepernick was sacked after likening the NFL combine to slavery in the latest example of how reliant the modern left has become on the emotional impact of a practice that hasn’t existed in America since the Civil War era.
In a new Netflix special, the surly malcontent who became a celebrated figure to the “woke” media for his disrespectful decision to take a knee during the national anthem disgracefully trivializes the suffering of generations of blacks who were horrifically subjugated with his ridiculous comparison.
According to the former NFLer who got rich during his own career and then parlayed his martyrdom after walking away from the 49ers into even more wealth as a pitchman for Nike, the combine is akin to the darkest aspects of slavery, despite the fact that the college players who willingly show up to try out for teams are a diverse mix of aspiring players. But Kaepernick and his handlers aren’t about to let the truth spoil their narrative.
In a segment from the series “Colin in Black & White” that draws heavily on special effects, Kaepernick delivers his message as narrator while the actors portraying players morph into chained captives at an actual slave auction, an assertion so over the top that it borders on parody.
In his Netflix special, Colin Kaepernick suggests the NFL training camp is synonymous with literally buying slaves.

“What they don’t want you to understand is what’s being established is a power dynamic,” says Kaepernick, “Before they put you on the field, teams poke, prod, and examine you searching for any defect that might affect your performance.”
“No boundary respected. No dignity left intact.” He added.
Twitter put a hurtin’ on Kaepernick in a way that no defensive lineman ever did during his abbreviated NFL career.
Colin Kaepernick compares the NFL combine, which allows all players of all races a voluntary chance to become multi-millionaires, to slavery. Anyone still defending this imbecile lacks a functional brain. pic.twitter.com/rMaKi7c6xh

Kaepernick spent half a decade crying that NFL teams wouldn’t give him a shot and now he’s decided that actually being an NFL player is like being a slave.
This dude is the most obvious and shameless con artist in modern American history.

Multi-millionaire Colin Kaepernick released a show on Netflix about how the world is racist and they held him back every step of the way.
He has no talent or intelligence and is worth millions — what more does he want?

Football players making $10+ million a year who are free to choose to play or not to play in the NFL are “slaves.” Everyone knows this. Thank god for woke Kaepernick and Netflix for reminding us of this

So the guy whose main source of income comes from actual slave laborers in China has a problem with slavery?

Compare this with troop inspections in the military. The grunts, independent of race, make a lot less than top players of the NFL. Is that also like buying slaves then?
No. The analogy in either case is superficial only and very much construed.

Colin Kaepernick gets paid to pretend to be a victim.

Few have been as ungrateful or as bitter to a system and a league that offers young black men a pathway to the upper echelons of society in terms of wealth as Kaepernick has since he chose to voluntarily walk away from the 49ers when he opted out of his contract in pursuit of more money elsewhere.
However, by the time that he hit the open market, he already had become so toxic that few owners would risk alienating millions of fans and introducing a cancerous influence into their locker rooms, leaving him jobless in his chosen profession but open to a lucrative career in the social justice grift industry.
Kaepernick did have chances to return to the NFL but an imminent contract with the Baltimore Ravens was aborted after his radical girlfriend posted a racist tweet of team owner Steve Bisciotti and Hall Of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis.

Another opportunity was squandered in 2019 when he jerked teams around at a scheduled workout by moving the location at the last minute and then showed up wearing a Kunta Kinte shirt a reference to a slave in the miniseries “Roots,” a sign that he was not serious about playing football again.
Colin Kaepernick, who has made tens of millions of dollars playing football, showed up for his NFL workout with a film crew in a Kunta Kinte shirt, equating himself with the slave from Roots. I honestly believe he doesn’t want a job, he wants to remain a victim & woke SJW martyr. pic.twitter.com/sjFpo1NaIw

What has been an amazing feat is how Kaepernick has been able to leverage his victimhood by building a following of leftists who have absolutely no interest in football other than to pressure feckless NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell into trashing what was one of America’s most patriotic and enduring brands.
