Tucker Carlson points to Lincoln Project’s tiki stunt in defense of his special focusing on Jan. 6 protest

Fox News host Tucker Carlson zeroed in on the moronic false flag stunt pulled by the Lincoln Project during the Virginia gubernatorial race and cleverly connected it to his upcoming special “Patriot Purge” that will take a closer look at what transpired on Jan. 6.

The anti-Trump Lincoln Project took credit for standing five people in front of Republican Glenn Youngkin’s bus Friday dressed like white supremacists with tiki torches attempting to resurrect the incident in Charlottesville four years ago.

The group claimed they were trying to hold Youngkin to account for his ties to former President Trump. However, Youngkin by most accounts is not a staunch Trump Republican. Instead, former Vice President Mike Pence has campaigned for him. The Lincoln Project has been blasted for the false flag move just days before the upcoming election between Youngkin and Terry McAuliffe.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo asked Stuart Stevens of the Lincoln Project if he thought the stunt was the right move to make.

“The question here is not about some guys who showed up at a rally,” stated Stevens. “It’s why hasn’t Glenn Youngkin denounced Donald Trump for saying that there are good people on both sides? I mean, that is absolutely outrageous. And it’s because Glenn Youngkin wants it both ways. And I think that’s the message that needs to be driven here.”

“You know, the Lincoln Project was the first in this race to put Charlottesville in an ad. And some people thought maybe it went too far. But we did it. And it worked. And then McAuliffe’s campaign followed us and put Charlottesville in a very good ad they did. So I think the question here is, we can’t ignore what happened in Charlottesville, the question is why hasn’t Glenn Youngkin denounced Donald Trump?” he repeated.

On his show Friday, Carlson made a reference to the backlash against the Lincoln Project in connection to his upcoming documentary “Patriot Purge.” A clip from the special features someone calling January 6 a false flag event.

“It’s a shocking and remarkable story but the timing of it is also pretty incredible. It was just, I don’t know, maybe 12 hours ago that the rest of the country was lectured by Liz Cheney, by Nancy Pelosi, by the entire edifice of the American left that false flags aren’t real. Nobody in this country, no political actor would ever pretend to be somebody else in order to discredit political opponents, that’s a conspiracy theory. It’s racist actually even to suggest that. And yet that’s what this looks like. In fact, that’s what this was,” Carlson remarked.

The clip begins by warning viewers, “The U.S government has in fact launched a new war on terror, and it’s not against al-Qaeda, it’s against American citizens.”

Carlson then points out that this is an “attack on core civil liberties,” and that “it’s essential that you know what’s happening, and that you resist it.”

Footage of the killing of Ashli Babbit as she tried to breach the House chamber on January 6th is also seen.

The clip contends, “The left is hunting the right, sticking them in Guantanamo Bay, for American citizens, leaving them there to rot.”

While many conservatives look forward to the special and agree that there were shenanigans going on during the Jan. 6 protest, there has been pushback against the special. Typically from leftists.

Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera called Carlson out for the false flag language.

Several others at Fox News have allegedly expressed their shock as well.

Carlson responded to Congresswoman Liz Cheney criticizing his documentary Thursday night calling her a “coward” for refusing to appear on his show.

Many on social media think the Lincoln Project is deranged in their hatred of Trump and are condemning their dirty tricks against Youngkin:
