A Fairfax County, Virginia mother of six who has been protesting library books containing sexually graphic images and text is claiming that federal agents and a helicopter were present at a recent local school board meeting.
Stacy Langton made the alarming claim on Wednesday. She reported that unmarked vehicles and a helicopter were seen at the meeting and believes they were intended to intimidate parents.
“This is something that is incredible in America and it’s ridiculously un-American,” proclaimed Langton during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.”
She posted a photo on Twitter of a Department of Homeland Security vehicle and several “ghost cars,” which could have possibly been unmarked local or federal vehicles. She also stated that a helicopter flew overhead, shining its spotlight down on the area.
“Went to @fcpsnews #schoolboardmeeting last night. Heavy #Fed presence. Unmarked fed vehicles, @DHSgov vehicles, even helicopter circling overhead with spotlight on Moms & Dads. All on the night #DOJ Merrick Garland testifies. A little over the top, no @SebGorka @AsraNomani,” she tweeted.

DHS is not commenting so far on the accusation.
Langton and approximately 45 other parents protested outside the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Oct. 17 at a “Parents Are Not ‘Domestic Terrorists’ Rally.” That was four days before the school board meeting took place. She bluntly stated that she does not believe in coincidence and believes the feds showing up is due to the protest.
Since she protested outside the DOJ, Langton claims she has received daily threats from unidentified sources. She contends that the threats are a direct result of her public statements criticizing her children’s school curriculum which allegedly contained pornographic materials given to students.
“I have threats against my children by name, I have been followed in my car with my children, they have my vehicle, they know where I live, and I don’t know who’s putting somebody up to this, but it’s obviously meant to intimidate me,” asserted Langton.
The National School Boards Association wrote a letter to Merrick Garland asserting that parents had the potential to act like domestic terrorists against school board members, teachers, and officials. The attorney general then issued a memo tasking the FBI and federal agencies with policing those threats, claiming there had been “a disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff who participate in the vital work of running our nation´s public schools.”
Garland hotly claimed during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Capitol Hill on October 21 that the FBI would not be present at school board meetings.
“Will FBI agents be attending local school board meetings?” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) asked him.
“No, FBI agents will not be attending local school board meetings and there’s nothing in this memo to suggest that,” Garland tersely responded.
“I’m not getting a lot of sleep right now, nobody’s sleeping in my house because we can’t be sure that we’re safe. So, I understand Merrick Garland is actually testifying today at the Senate and he’s gonna talk about mobilizing the FBI against parents. Maybe he should mobilize the FBI into who’s threatening my family,” Langton angrily remarked.
There is huge, overwhelming support out there for Langton and alarm concerning the actions of federal agencies:
This attempt by federal law enforcement at intimidating parents is unacceptable. It will not succeed. Loudoun County parents stand with you!
