‘Real Housewife’ Kelly Dodd says she ‘regrets’ getting the jab, goes off on loss of freedom

“Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Kelly Dodd [Leventhal] says she regrets getting the coronavirus vaccine after contracting the virus because she “already had the antibodies” and believes she is “unlikely to get COVID again.”

She tweeted Tuesday, “I got the vaccine … And regret it. I’m trying not to be a dick.” The last part seems to refer to a cartoon character named “Dick” that “thinks the government cares about him.”

She then posted a message stating that there were no commercials for the COVID vaccine because if they made one, the makers of the vaccine would have to list the side effects.

Dodd has previously stated that “no one should be forced” to get the vaccine. The celebrity has also called the vaccine a “potentially deadly jab.”

“I already had the virus so I already had antibodies. I was protected and unlikely to get COVID again but got the vaccine because of travel restrictions. It made life a lot easier since I could show the card and not have to keep getting tested, but if the government would’ve allowed an antibody card I never would’ve gotten the shot,” she told Page Six.

“Now I personally know of at least two otherwise healthy people who died of blood clots after getting the vaccine and three others who developed Bells Palsy. Another friend of mine who was fine before she got jabbed got Myocarditis and almost died and is still really suffering and she only got the vax because her employer required it,” Dodd continued.

“If people want to get this experimental vaccine that we now know only lasts a few months and doesn’t keep you from catching or spreading COVID, go get it but no one should be forced to do it,” she remarked. “If it’s so effective than [sic] the people who get it shouldn’t be worried about people who don’t.”

“And if this is all about the science, then look at the actual stats. Give natural immunity the same value as an experimental and potentially deadly jab. I know this virus has killed more than 700,000 people but more than 90% of them had preexisting comorbidities. They were already very sick and most were elderly. For the general population, COVID has a 99% survival rate,” she asserted.

“Why are we demanding young healthy people risk their bodies for something that’s been proven not to work very well? And why is this such a controversial stance in America, where we used to value freedom and independence and choice so highly? I feel like I woke up in the USSR,” Dodd remarked.

Both Dodd and her husband. former senior correspondent for Fox News, Rick Leventhal took the Johnson & Johnson vaccine because “it’s one shot, one time only,” Leventhal stated in a video that was posted in June. He called it a “historic day” for them.

Dodd is no stranger to controversy concerning the pandemic. In April of 2020, she remarked that it’s “God’s way of thinning the herd.” She apologized for the comment after getting massive blowback over it online. She stated that she “felt bad” for her remarks.

The blood clots that have occurred due to vaccination are a rare adverse event called thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome, which has largely shown up in adult women younger than 50-years-old. Bell’s palsy is reportedly even rarer. Despite deaths from both side effects, the CDC and the medical community still claim the benefits of the vaccine far outweigh the risks.
