President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden were spotted walking around a Washington, D.C. restaurant maskless despite a district-wide mask mandate requiring that masks be worn indoors, even by those fully vaccinated. The order states that masks must be worn in restaurants except when eating or drinking.

According to reports, the couple showed up at the extremely expensive and lavish Fiola Mare restaurant late Saturday for “date night.”

“Date night” is literally the term that was used by the White House in a statement issued to Bloomberg News reporter Josh Wingrove.

Look:

Wingrove later posted a video of the president leaving the restaurant but neglected to mention that Biden’s mask was in his hands instead of on his face.

Look:

In fairness to the president, he was stepping outside at the time.

However, additional footage captured by people inside the restaurant showed both the president and first lady traipsing around inside without a mask, despite virtually everybody else in the restaurant clearly being masked.

Watch:

As the footage went viral, it triggered widespread anger and resentment from the public but seemingly none — none whatsoever — from the sycophantic media. Members of the media seemed too busy giggling over “date night.”

Meanwhile, members of the public were exasperated from being hit by yet another example of Democrat political figures acting as if they’re above everybody else.

This phenomenon has played out multiple times throughout the pandemic, with Democrats habitually violating mask policies and then sometimes even defending their hypocritical behavior afterward.

After San Francisco Mayor London Breed was caught hypocritically partying the night away and singing maskless with a Black Lives Matter co-founder at a nightclub in September, she cried foul.

“No, I’m not going to sip and put my mask on, sip and put my mask on, sip and put my mask on, eat and put my mask on while I’m eating and I’m drinking. I’m going to leave my mask off,” she complained at the time.

“My drink was sitting at the table. I got up and started dancing because I was feeling the spirit and I wasn’t thinking about a mask. I was thinking about having a good time.”

In other words, the rules don’t apply when she wants to have a good time. And apparently, the same is true of the president and first lady.

This, according to the public, is NOT acceptable.

Not that the president or any other Democrat seems to care about the public’s perception of their rank hypocrisy and double standards.

They appear to realize that, no matter what they do, their base will always support them. Indeed, in response to the criticism pouring in against the president and first lady, their sycophants have been firing off excuses and insults.

Look:

It’s apparently petty to demand that Democrats abide by the same rules and standards that they impose on everybody else.

It appears this double standard applies to anyone and everyone on the left, from black-face-wearing so-called “comedian” Jimmy Kimmel to so-called “peaceful protesters” of a left-wing persuasion who commit their own veritable insurrections.

It seems that so long as someone has either an official or unofficial D next to their name, anything goes
