A fun Fox News interview with patrons at a diner in Greenville, South Carolina, is drawing attention for the cheeky zinger from one of the diners.
On Thursday, Fox News’ Will Cain visited the Carolina Drive-In Restaurant in Greenville, South Carolina on behalf of Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” to celebrate the network’s 25th anniversary with some of Fox News’ dearest fans.
It was exactly 25 years ago on Oct. 7, 1996, that Fox News launched. Twenty-five years later, it’s now the highest-rated news network in America.
Now watch what happened below:
The clip showed Cain speaking with two diners — a man and a woman.
“Kelly, tell me why you watch this channel and have for so long?” he said to the woman.
“I watch Fox News because you all tell the truth. Other news sites, they aren’t always telling the honest truth, and we know when you watch Fox News, that’s what you’re going to get!”
Good answer. It was the man’s turn next.
“I watch Fox News because it’s America. It’s my America. It’s a real station telling a real truth every day. And by the way …,” he said before dropping his zinger.
“Let’s go, Brandon!” he added, eliciting immediate laughter from the woman, from Cain and from the hosts of “Fox & Friends.” They all knew what’s up!
As the camera then panned back to the “Fox & Friends” studio, co-host Steve Doocy said, “Very nicely done!”
The man’s cheeky zinger was in reference to what happened Saturday, when a crowd of NASCAR Xfinity race fans erupted into chants of “f–k Joe Biden” as the race’s winner, Brandon Brown, was being interviewed by an NBC News reporter.
But for some inexplicable reason, the reporter responded to the chanting by pretending as if the crowd was chanting something else.
“You can hear the chants from the crowd: Let’s go, Brandon!” she said.

It’s unclear why she said that. Either she misheard the chant, she was trying to save face since it was a live interview or she was trying to gaslight to protect President Joe Biden.

Either way, thanks to the reporter, later identified as Kelli Stavast, chanting “let’s go, Brandon” has now become a PG way of saying “f–k Joe Biden.”
And so what the man in the “Fox & Friends” interview had been saying was “f–k Joe Biden.”
“Very nicely done” indeed!
The words “let’s go, Brandon” have become especially popular on Twitter, where they’re being used all the time to express distaste for the president in a way that Twitter certainly can’t say is hateful.

So “Let’s go Brandon” has replaced “F*** Joe Biden” and “Due to supply chain problems” has replaced “Due to Joe Biden”.

I can chant let’s go Biden with my kids around, probably wouldn’t chant it with my kids around, but if they weren’t around I definitely would. Lets go Brandon is a twofer get Biden and the idiot media and its family appropriate. If ya know, ya know

This development comes as the president’s favorability rating has crashed to a record low.
As of Thursday afternoon, his average job approval rating at RealClearPolitics was only 44.3 percent, down from an average approval rating of around 55 percent when he took office in January.
The climactic collapse may very well be unprecedented.
Even the latest poll from Quinnipiac, whose polling tends to favor Democrats, showed him with an approval rating of only 40 percent versus a disapproval rating of 53 percent.
Quinnipiac claimed Lindsey Graham was tied in his Senate race (he won by >10) and that Collins would lose by 12 (she won by 9). For them to give these APOCALYPTIC numbers for Biden means they must be, somehow, far, far worse. https://t.co/0xlzaYhMSj

But it gets worse.
Biden’s numbers are reportedly as bad as those of former President Donald Trump, a man who’d faced a constant barrage of negative attacks from the left-wing establishment press.
According to The Washington Post’s real conservative columnist (not to be confused with its fake one), Biden’s numbers with independents are especially bad.
“An average of only 39 percent of independents approved of Biden’s performance in the three polls taken between Sept. 18 and 26 that made data available for those voters; 52 percent disapproved,” columnist Henry Olsen pointed out Monday.
Note that his column was posted before Quinnipiac’s latest poll.
“Trump’s comparable numbers among independents in three polls taken between Sept. 22 and 27, 2017, were 38 percent approval and 50 percent disapproval. That means Biden’s minus-13 net job approval among independents is statistically identical to Trump’s minus-12,” Olsen continued.
True, though mathematically speaking, -12 is higher than -13, meaning that based on the raw numbers alone, Biden is now less popular than his predecessor.
That’s gotta hurt …
