Profanity-laced fight breaks out in front of Brian Laundrie's family's home: 'You're going to jail!'

Protestors have been camped outside of the Laundrie family home in North Port, Florida for weeks, but Wednesday night one neighbor had enough, reportedly getting into a physical confrontation with a protestor after they allegedly trespassed on to his property.

The media and protestors have been affixed to the Laundrie home since Brian Laundrie’s 22-year-old fiancée, Gabby Petito, was first reported missing followed by Laundrie’s own suspicious disappearance.

Most recently, there have been two protestors with megaphones who have chanted and yelled outside the home from morning to evening. On Wednesday night around 6 P.M., one neighbor came barreling out of his property to confront a male protestor, allegedly pushing him for trespassing, and the aftermath was caught on tape.

While it may very well be considered a nuisance by the neighborhood, there have not been any other reported altercations with neighbors outside the home.

“I’ll kill you,” the neighbor yelled at the beginning of the tape.

“I’m pressing charges…the whole world is watching,” the male protestor yelled back while recording the incident, “You just assaulted me on camera, you did, you’re going to jail.”

“You can sit here all you want with your megaphone. I don’t care, but you come on my property again, I’m going to f****** beat your a**,” the neighbor reportedly shouted at the protester.

The neighbor then pulled out a cellphone in an attempt to show proof that the male protestor trespassed on his property, but walked away as tensions boiled over.

The North Port Police arrested the neighbor later in the evening on battery charges.

Petito lived at the North Port home with Laundrie and his family for two years before they embarked on their cross-country adventure that ended with her tragic death, now being considered a homicide by the coroner.

Brian Laundrie returned to his Florida home in Petito’s van without Petito on September 1st. He and his parents, Chris and Roberta, immediately lawyered up and refused to speak with law enforcement.

Petito was officially reported missing on September 11th.

Some have speculated that Laundrie’s parents, who waited three days to report him missing on September 17th, gave him a head start to escape law enforcement and evade any potential justice served.

“We’ve been trying all week to talk to his family, to talk to Brian, and now they’ve called us here on Friday. We’ve gone to the home, and they’re saying now they have not seen their son,” police in North Port told CNN at the time.

Petito’s family isn’t buying that Laundrie is “missing” either.

“All of Gabby’s family want the world to know that Brian is not missing, he is hiding. Gabby is missing,” the family wrote in a statement that was released just one day before Petito’s remains were found.

The case has intensified since Laundrie was named a “person of interest” by law enforcement and the U.S. District Court of Wyoming issued a federal arrest warrant for Laundrie, alleging that he committed debit card fraud between Aug. 30 and Sept. 1.

Law enforcement first began their search for Laundrie in the Carlton Reserve, a 24,000-acre swampy area that is located just 15 minutes from the Laundries’ home. If Laundrie were at the Reserve, most people familiar with the area have agreed he is likely not alive because of the dangerous wildlife that inhabits the area like boar, black bears, alligators, and poisonous snakes.

Duane Chapman, better known as “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” recently announced that he was joining the search for Laundrie. On September 27th, Chapman followed a tip he received that alleged Laundrie was at a Florida campground with his parents 75 miles away from his home in early September, but only two of them were seen leaving.

Law enforcement has now reportedly shifted the investigation to that area, according to Fox News.

Chapman, however, has begun searching small islands accessible by canoe off of the campground area after speaking with caretakers of the surrounding keys who said it’s possible Laundrie is there.

On Wednesday, the legendary bounty hunter took a private search and rescue K-9 team to the nearby island, Egmont Key, but did not find any conclusive evidence that Laundrie was there.
