A tweet from Vice President Kamala Harris is leaving many people wondering if she perhaps might be unaware of the stated or original purpose of the COVID-19 jab.
In messaging that appears contradictory to those who follow the latest pandemic developments on social media, Harris took to Twitter to assert the following on behalf of the Biden administration:
“By vaccinating the unvaccinated, increasing our testing and masking, and protecting the vaccinated, we can end this pandemic. That’s exactly what we are committed to doing.”
“There has been widespread confusion over vaccine rhetoric from the Biden administration, as a push to protect the vaccinated has become a common talking point, despite the vaccines already providing strong protection for those who’ve gotten them,” Fox News reported.
“Harris’ tweet was no exception and was met with criticism and confusion.”
By vaccinating the unvaccinated, increasing our testing and masking, and protecting the vaccinated, we can end this pandemic. That’s exactly what we are committed to doing.

Along these lines, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention seemed to have made a stealth edit to its definition of vaccination, which was publicized by U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), among other internet sleuths.
The new government definition is “the act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce protection from a specific disease.” This language replaces prior wording that a vaccination produces “immunity” to a specific disease.

In a video clip that is separately circulating on social media in which Harris seems to be lamenting the “unconstitutional” Texas fetal heartbeat law, she asserted, in part, that the “right of women to make decisions about their own bodies is not negotiable. The right of women to make decisions about their own bodies is their decision, it is their body.”
This has prompted some to wonder why the Democrats have abandoned the longstanding “my body, my choice” philosophy when it comes to vaccines.
Thanks for backing me up on not getting vaxxed @KamalaHarris — sorry dudes, you’re on your own. https://t.co/EWsJjta221

The right to make decisions about their own bodies is not negotiable. That’s why there will be no negotiation when we inject them with whatever we declare is mandatory.

The Harris protecting-the-vaccinated tweet comes even as there seem to be more so-called breakthrough COVID-19 infections, i.e., among those who already have received two injections. This has prompted some talk among public health officials about the need for a booster shot for fully vaccinated persons.
“Meanwhile, unvaccinated people face a far greater chance of death from the COVID-19 delta variant,” according to a new CDC study, Fox News added.
In any event, Twitter seems gobsmacked that President Biden’s running mate seems to think that the already-vaccinated need a safe space from those who are unvaccinated.
Here is just a sample of the responses:
“Protecting the vaccinated” is an odd argument since the vaccinated are already, you know, vaccinated. And the vaccine works in keeping one out of the hospital 99.99 percent of the time per the data. https://t.co/VPKgsFMhap

Why do you need to protect the vaccinated? Doesn’t the vax do that?
— Kyle Hooten (@KyleHooten2) September 13, 2021
Yet she sowed confusion & doubt about the vaccines early on, giggling and dissembling, only to get “the Trump vaccine” as soon as she could. How many visits to unvaccinated communities has she made? (the southern border & Guatemala don’t count) https://t.co/C0dMGnMKT0

“Protecting the vaccinated.” So, the Biden administration is taking credit for something…the vaccine is supposed to do?
Bizarre. https://t.co/A2CKexXlts

Can someone please explain how getting vaccinated helps protect the vaccinated?
— Frank Garcia (@frankgarcia65) September 13, 2021
Why do the vaccinated need to be protected if the vaccine works? Vaccinated still catch and spread the virus. There will never be zero Covid cases. It’s here to stay.

Protecting only a selected group…that doesn’t seem very inclusive. How about you work to protect our entire nation & deal with the southern border crisis. How about you work to protect our Constitution & defend our individual liberties. #HumanRights #BorderCrisis

Wouldn’t the vaccine protect the vaccinated? I for one am voluntarily vaccinated, however mandating Americans to receive a vaccine in order to earn a living, but not requiring it to get into our country is bass akwards.

By vaccinating the unvaccinated, making them vaccinated, aren’t they protected at that point? What’s the point of the vaccination if it does nothing for you in and of itself?
— Craig Saunders (@crsaunders40) September 12, 2021
Opposing mandates is not anti-vax. Telling people they need to get vaccinated and wear a mask to protect the already-vaccinated is anti-vax. https://t.co/Qh4Xw87uM5

If being vaccinated is not protecting the vaccinated, then what the hell is it even for? https://t.co/StRsdLYrRY
