Former Florida Democrat congressional candidate Pam Keith outrageously claimed that 9/11 was not the worst attack to ever hit the United States in her lifetime, it was the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.
“On 1/6/2021, 9/11/2001 ceased being the worst thing that happened to America in my lifetime. It’s really weird and painful to process and say that. But it’s the truth. And quite frankly… it’s not even close,” the current executive director of Fight 4 Florida’s Future tweeted on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.
“Today makes 20 years since one of the most impactful events of my life. I was in DC, completely freaked out, in a daze of horror & rage. Little did I know that the damage of that day would pale SO MUCH in comparison to the ongoing horror visited upon our nation on 11/8/2016,” she also tweeted concerning the election of former President Trump.
Almost 3,000 American lives were lost on that tragic day in 2001. One person was killed during the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021, and that was a Trump supporter who was shot by a D.C. police officer. Many would contend the two events don’t even come close in comparison. It appeared to many that Keith made her outrageous tweets for attention, trying to make this ill-fated day all about herself and not the victims of terrorism on 9/11.

One commenter on Twitter stated, “This is why she will never win anything in Florida.”
Another angrily commented, “You are f**king deranged.”
Yet another pointed out the ridiculousness of her claim: “So according to Pam Keith, this guy, and others like him on 1-6, are worse than the attacks on 9-11? The Left is beyond vile.”

Conservative pundit Dana Loesch’s husband Chris eviscerated Keith for her tweet, writing, “Your idiotic attempt at comparison and equivocation is shameful! Crawl back into your hole and delete your account.”

Political operative Ghost Gunner Lizzy did not mince words with the Democrat, tweeting “You should say this to the face of all the families of the victims in the Pentagon, in the Twin Towers, on the airplanes and the first responders and heroes who died on 9/11.”
Keith chose the wrong day to make such a tweet. They lined up to slam her for the comparison:

Now imagine saying that to face of someone who lost a loved one on 9/11 or in the last 20 years of military conflicts that followed . . .
Yeah, that’s what I thought.

This picture always rips my soul. One of the most shocking, brutal, painful photos to come out of that day.

I will never forget the terror of their meetings being disrupted for two hours. And the countless selfies that were taken that day….the horror. They even had to close the Congressional cafeteria for the day. Resuming their meetings later was the bravest thing ever. pic.twitter.com/CRY8YDwjAk

I remember what I was doing on 9/11/2001. I was a junior in high school about to take an English test. When the principal told the teachers to turn on the tv and the towers have fallen. I remember that day and I’m now 37 years old. On 1/6/2021 can’t remember at all.

You should really consider reevaluating and also consider deleting this.

Maybe not living in the NY metro area you are not aware of the full impact of that day.
