CNN’s Acosta attacks Tucker as a race-baiting ‘manure-spreader,’ part of ‘American Taliban’

CNN anchor Jim Acosta viciously attacked Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Saturday, calling him a “human manure spreader” while outrageously referring to Republicans lawmakers as the “American Taliban.”

“Over on Fox, human manure spreader Tucker Carlson has floated yet another race-baiting conspiracy theory, that tens of thousands of Afghan refugees are being welcomed into this country in order to change the outcome of future elections,” Acosta disingenuously reported.

He played a clip of Carlson who warned, “Many of whom will now be moved into neighborhoods around the United States and stay permanently. They didn’t seem to encounter any problems in doing this. Thanks to meticulous and thoughtful planning, Operation: Change America Forever came off precisely according to plan. It worked flawlessly.”

Acosta then quipped, “Did he say Operation: Change America Forever? I think change is already in the air.”

Later in the segment, Acosta went after conservatives as a chyron at the bottom of the screen claimed, “It’s the far-right, not Afghan refugees, posing a threat to democracy.”

“What will we tell the Afghan refugees who just fled those schools for girls back in their home country? I guess the girls here will have to fill them in. Unfortunately, what we will tell them is that some members of the far-right in this country have apparently decided they will resort to intimidation, and in some cases, even violence to get what they want. And they could sweep into power faster than the experts thought possible. Sound familiar?” Acosta charged.

“Sort of like an American Taliban. It is starting to look like a combination of theocracy and thugocracy. The leaders of this MAGA-ban movement — people like Marjorie, Madison, and Tucker — they’re not counting on an intelligence failure or a lack of planning on your part,” he contended, resurrecting the left’s comparison of the right to terrorists.

“They’re counting on a lack of courage to stand up for your rights in this country. Does that ring a bell? The anti-immigration, anti-Democratic, anti-women’s rights forces have all sought these kinds of changes for years, even decades in this country. Their operation to change America forever is well underway. It’s just changing in a way they don’t want you to see,” Acosta baselessly claimed.

Acosta’s attack was partially based on Carlson accusing President Joe Biden and Democrats last week of a “partisan power play” by placing newly arrived Afghan refugees in critical swing states that decide presidential elections. Those states include Pennsylvania, Florida, and Georgia.

Carlson stated that the official State Department website includes a list of communities that will welcome Afghan refugees who were airlifted out of the country as it fell to the Taliban.

“And if you look at that list long enough, you may notice something, especially if you cover politics,” the Fox News host noted. “You may notice that these communities include an awful lot of swing districts and swing states all over the United States.”

“It’s not just Virginia. Three of these communities are in Texas. The state the Democratic Party has tried to flip for years,” he posited. “Now it’s their first priority. One of these cities is Austin, one is Dallas, and another is Houston.”

“The State Department has also urged Afghans to go to the state of Pennsylvania. Does Pennsylvania need more people? Probably not,” Carlson said. “A lot of unemployment between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. But Pennsylvania is also a state that Donald Trump won in 2016. So maybe they should go there.”

Carlson also named several other cities and states that are taking Afghan refugees, including Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Nevada; and Colorado.

“They are flooding swing districts with refugees they know will become loyal Democratic Party voters,” he asserted. “They’re opening the southern border to more than two hundred thousand illegal migrants per month. That’s the equivalent of nearly two Afghan airlifts every 30 days.”

Carlson previously pointed out that the Afghan refugees have allegedly not been thoroughly vetted, “They’re not all heroes. We don’t know who they are.” And Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) has also warned about the insufficient vetting process. Both of those stated valid concerns caused Acosta to have a meltdown and ostensibly accuse those on the right of terrorism.

Acosta also went after Republicans over the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, calling it an “insurrection.” He then railed against the Texas law banning abortions after six weeks when the detection of a fetal heartbeat occurs. He claimed that it sends a “Handmaid’s Tale vibe.” He gleefully trashed House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Rep. Madison Cawthorn, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene as well.

The bashing of the right by Acosta was praised by Democrats.

It would seem that concerns of terrorists slipping through the vetting process are valid.

NBC News reported: “Of more than 30,000 evacuees from Afghanistan to the U.S., about 10,000 needed additional screening as of Friday, said the sources, and of those about 100 were flagged for possible ties to the Taliban or terror groups. Two of those 100 raised enough concern for additional review.”

Acosta was thrashed on social media for his slanderous accusations and many have doubts over the vetting process:
