The Afghan interpreter who helped rescue Biden in 2008 and was left behind in Afghanistan after the U.S. withdrew fears the Taliban will kill him and is begging the President to not forget about him or his family.
“Do not forget me and my family,” begged Mohammed, during a phone interview with “Fox & Friends First” co-host Jillian Mele.
The interpreter pleaded with President Biden to return the favor of saving his and his family’s lives, “Just give him my hello and tell him—if possible, tell him or send a message. Do not let me and my family [sic] behind.”
Mohammed also told The Wall Street Journal, “Hello Mr. President: Save me and my family. Don’t forget me here.”

Shawn O’Brien, who is an Army veteran that worked with Mohammed in 2008, called on U.S. officials to help Mohammed get out of Afghanistan.
“If you can only help one Afghan, choose [Mohammed],” O’Brien told the Wall Street Journal.
Biden, two other senators, his team, and the attendant crew were forced to make an emergency landing thirteen years ago near Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan. The interpreter, whose name is Mohammed, helped ensure that Biden survived after their Blackhawk helicopter was forced down during a snowstorm.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who at the time was an aide to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, was also rescued by the mission according to CNN. Then-Sens. John Kerry (D-MA) and Chuck Hagel (R-NE) were also on board at the time.
Mohammed was a 36-year-old interpreter working with the U.S. Army in 2008. He was part of a motorcade responding to the senators’ call for help. The group reportedly braved more than 100 firefights in the valley to help Biden and the others.
The interpreter is one of an unknown number of Afghan allies and Americans who were unable to get to the Kabul airport before the final U.S. flight departed stranding them in Afghanistan and at the mercy of the Taliban.
“It’s very scary, ma’am. We are under great risk,” Mohammed bluntly stated during the “Fox & Friends First” interview. He stressed that his situation is both “hard” and “horrifying.”
In June, Lt. Col. Andrew R. Till threw his support behind the interpreter’s application for a Special Immigrant Visa after it stalled due to a defense contractor losing the necessary records.
“His selfless service to our military men and women is just the kind of service I wish more Americans displayed,” Till noted according to the New York Post.
The Taliban are now reportedly going door-to-door searching for individuals such as Mohammed. If they find him, he will almost certainly be killed for helping Americans. Mohammed and his family are hunkered down and in-hiding, but eventually, the Taliban will find them if they are not rescued.
There is also the stark possibility since he and his family cannot get out to get food and necessities, they could perish while hiding from the terrorists.
“It’s too easy for them,” asserted Mohammed, referring to the Taliban.
13 years ago, Afghan interpreter Mohammed rescued then- Sen. Biden stranded in a remote Afghanistan valley after their helicopter made an emergency landing.

Despite all that has happened, Mohammed still has faith that President Biden will find a way to get him and his family out of Afghanistan.
“I trust him. He can do everything. He’s the power of the United States. He controls the power and [sic] use power right now. He can do everything for me, and, like me, other people,” he proclaimed.
When asked about the interpreter’s fate on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated that she appreciated the man’s role in helping rescue the President. She also said that the U.S. will try to help him get out of Afghanistan.
“Our message to him is thank you for fighting by our side for the last 20 years. Thank you for the role you played in helping a number of my favorite people out of a snowstorm and for all the work you did,” Psaki commented during her daily press briefing.
“Our commitment is enduring — not just to American citizens, but to our Afghan partners who have fought by our side — and our efforts and our focus right now is to the diplomatic phase. We will get you out. We will honor your service,” she promised.

Biden was pummeled for abandoning Mohammed after he saved his life and for all the others now stranded behind enemy lines: (** Language warning)
This is what happens when fraudulent elections are allowed to go unchallenged. We are watching America destroyed from within, our global allies will never trust us again, and blood of innocents is being shed…all part of the plan to destroy our country and humiliate us all.

While few will have the personal connection that this does, this story is being repeated thousands of times over throughout Afghanistan.

My son was stationed in Afghanistan for a year and became friends with some of the interpreters. This is heartbreaking. They have been loyal to the US and oftentimes kept us from harm.

Don’t worry, Psaki said thank you for rescuing her friends from a snowstorm. That should suffice.
