U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra is attempting to justify Joe Biden’s idea of deploying vaccine monitors to go door to door to increase jab compliance.
Becerra, a career Democrat politician and lawyer went on CNN this morning to share the following insight when anchor Brianna Keilar brought up the intense criticism coming from Republicans that the government has no business snooping into individual health-related decisions.
“Perhaps we should point out that the federal government has spent trillions of dollars to try to keep Americans alive during this pandemic. So it is absolutely the government’s business. It is taxpayers’ business if we have to continue to spend money to try to keep people from contracting COVID and helping reopen the economy,” he claimed.
“And so it is our business to try to make sure Americans can prosper, Americans can freely associate. And knocking on a door has never been against the law. You don’t have to answer, but we hope you do, because you haven’t been vaccinated, we can help dispel some of those rumors you’ve heard and hopefully get you vaccinated.”
Watch:
Becerra hails from California, a state where oppressive lockdowns hardly contributed to helping residents prosper, and is headed toward a recall election of Governor Newsom.
The COVID-19 vaccine has yet to receive FDA approval. Moreover, health freedom is a time-honored principle in the U.S. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and was enacted, in part, to protect medical privacy.
Like various traditions, particularly in the last year or so, that revolve around individual freedom, this one may be heading toward abandonment.

When it comes to vaccine mandates, Fox News Host Tucker Carlson recently compared the situation to what is portrayed in the dystopian novel “The Handmaid’s Tale”.
That aside, Becerra’s whole-hearted backing of government intrusion prompted a robust response on Twitter. Here is just a sampling: (** Language warning)
Just say you have to show proof of vaccination to be able to vote and the left will suddenly be against it.

Becerra calling for a police state and the clueless host acts like a fan club member

Does the government know the vaccination status of the migrants that are being bussed to cities all over this country? It’s absolutely our business to know their status. pic.twitter.com/9oZpKcunTf

I don’t see them messing with the obese… that costs us billions every year.

By this logic Cuomo will now demand that the Government go door to door to check if any citizen has a firearm – because he has now called Gun Violence a crisis, and the Gov’t is spending money on the issue 🤦♂️
— Poppa-Ghosts (@ucfierce) July 8, 2021
It is absolutely NOT the governments business, or anyone else’s business what vaccinations I choose to get or refuse to get.

Leftist totalitarian. We take your money through taxes, give a little bit back to you(pelosi called them crumbs) and then use that as an excuse to invade your privacy and insert Gov into your medical history to control your life. Pretty sure nobody voted for that.
— BeardedRico (@BeardedRico) July 8, 2021
This is scary. I’m vaccinated but I don’t want to know nor have the right to know if anyone else is.
— @bearabe (@bearabe5) July 8, 2021
Dems say you can’t ask if they are a citizen in a census but you can demand to know if they are vaccinated.
— Doug Lawrence (@DougRLawrence) July 8, 2021
That’s a stupid excuse for violating my privacy.
Hey dumbass….who’s money is the Government spending?
You think spending OUR money gives you the right to violate OUR privacy?Idiots and tyrants everywhere.

No it’s not, Herr Becerra. . . But out of curiosity are you going to make those door knockers wear an armband thingy? https://t.co/x2g3mHaCeR
