CNN’s Don Lemon questions if America sees black people as ‘fully human’

CNN’s Don Lemon is well established as a bomb-throwing liberal ideologue who came into his own attacking former President Donald Trump on a nightly basis for sins real and imagined, with an emphasis on the latter.

The problem with throwing bombs is that one must top their last incendiary remark and eventually, their act grows tiresome — just ask Ann Coulter. On that note, Lemon made an outrageous accusation this past week while voicing his hatred for America.

The host of a prime-time CNN program questioned where America “sees black people as fully human.” As might be expected, Lemon pointed to Trump as a driving factor in discovering “just how racist” America is.

Selling a new book, naturally — headlines equate to book sales — Lemon was being interviewed by The Washington Post when he made the inflammatory remark. Race was a central theme in the interview, with Lemon doubling down on the notion that black Americans are first and foremost victims. A view many blacks reject.

“I feel like I’ve had to do that because I don’t think America has seen enough people like me. I don’t think America intimately knows enough people like me. I would love America to see black people, especially black gay men as — and I hate this word — normal, and as human beings and as part of the culture,” Lemon said. “I don’t know if America sees black people and especially black gay men as fully human, and as deserving of the American Dream.”

The remark was in response to a question about “putting yourself out there,” as the CNN host fully assumes the role of martyr for black America.

Quite a remark from a black man making $4 million a year, a black man with a net worth estimated to be at $12 million. The irresponsible claim came at the end of the article and Lemon offered nothing to substantiate such an egregious remark.

The Washington Post let what equates to an attack on America stand on its own — keep in mind that 40% of the country is something other than non-Hispanic white, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Lemon voiced the very tenets of Critical Race Theory, a toxic, divisive ideology that teaches Americans to hate each other based on the color of one’s skin — an ideology with Marxist overtones that claims America is overrun with systemic racism and all white people are inherently racist.

Of course, what would a Lemon interview be without a cheap shot at Donald Trump?

“There’s also this false reality that we’re living in a post-racial world after the election of Barack Obama. That was all bullsh*t,” Lemon told the Post. “It was a wake-up call to white people who thought we were living in a nonracist world. We’re living in two different realities as black and white people. We knew, as black people, what was lurking beneath the surface. I still believe that [Trump] was the necessary wake-up for America to realize just how racist it is.”

As for irresponsible actions, Lemon spoke of black people being “beaten up and killed by police officers,” as if it were an epidemic — statistics do not support the left’s claim that such incidents are disproportionate by race.

Speaking on the death of George Floyd and the conviction of the police officer who kneeled on his neck, Lemon was just as inflammatory.

“It’s a singular moment — unless and until we have another one. I write in my book that it’s the new blaxploitation. We constantly see black bodies being killed. How long are we going to have to hold black bodies up to get justice?” he said.

To be clear, Lemon was not talking about hundreds, even thousands of black deaths in cities like Chicago, St, Louis and Baltimore, at the hands of other black Americans.

He also talked about how “tiring” it is for black people to have to hold Whitey by the hand and walk him through his racist nature.

“You have to have relationships with people, whether you agree with them or not. It doesn’t mean you let them off scot-free; you must hold them accountable. And I know people hate to hear this in this environment, but you have to give people some grace,” he said.

“Whether we like, as black people, being the teachers or helping to guide white people through racism — it’s uncomfortable sometimes,” Lemon continued. “It’s tiring — unfortunately to some degree you have to do it, because otherwise they may take the wrong actions, and we want people to do it the right way.”

Surely, there must be a Nobel Peace Prize in this man’s future for all the sacrifices he makes to steer white Americans straight.
