Andy Ngo once again assaulted by Antifa, James Woods has a question for the FBI

Frontline reporter and journalist Andy Ngo, who covers the violent domestic terrorist group Antifa, experienced another brush with death this week when members of the group attacked him after recognizing him on a street in Portland, Oregon.

As he ran from the mob, he thought “This is how I’m to going to die. I hope they make it quick,” he told the New York Post.

Two fellow journalists saw the scene unfold and distracted the perpetrators so Ngo could escape. He ran to a hotel which the Antifa mob then surrounded, yelling and intimidating the journalist.

“I can’t wait for you to come out, Andy,” one woman reportedly screamed on a livestream, “We’re going to beat the fuck out of you, b—h.”

Police arrived at the hotel an hour later and escorted Ngo out the back door to the hospital where he was treated for multiple wounds covering his body and a bloodied eyeball.

Ngo is no stranger to the violent anarchists, who put him in the hospital with life-threatening injuries in 2019.

He faces death threats regularly for simply doing his job. Portland is littered with graffiti the reads “Kill Andy Ngo” and “Murder Andy Ngo.”

Ngo discussed whether or not he plans to back down with the New York Post:

“‘I’m staying on this beat,’ he declared, adding it’s more important than ever because local media outlets play by Antifa’s rules, such as not using cameras to document the thugs’ criminal behavior. Not Ngo: ‘They view me as an existential threat because one of the things I do is when they get arrested, I look at county jail records.’ He then stays up all night documenting their social media posts before they get a chance to delete them.”

Conservative actor James Woods praised Ngo’s bravery:

Journalist Lara Logan also came to his defense:

Law enforcement has faced pressure from politicians and activists to focus on violent, right-wing, extremist groups. Yet, for the last year, Antifa has functioned completely unchecked from an autonomous zone in Portland where they terrorize the population, vandalize the town, and face zero repercussions.

What’s perhaps even more troublesome is Twitter’s move to pull the word “journalist” from Ngo’s title on the platform’s curated news feed after a user complained following the attack.

After stripping Ngo of his professional identity, the tech giant dubbed him “author”.

Ngo responded to the change, condemning the “far-left” practice of censorship by only recognizing “those who write what they approve of” as legitimate journalists while reserving “intimidation and violence” for “provocateurs”.

Other conservative voices chimed in on the tyrannous move:
