Tucker Carlson eviscerates vaccination segregation: ‘Medical Jim Crow has come to America’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson tore into vaccination segregation on his show Tuesday night proclaiming that: “Medical Jim Crow has come to America. If we still had water fountains, the unvaccinated would have separate ones.”

He pointed out that segregation used to be considered the worst thing America has ever done. He noted just how wrong it was: “Forcing certain categories of citizens into separate, lesser accommodations, barring them from public places, treating them like lepers or untouchables — that was completely immoral and wrong, we were told that a lot and most of us strongly agreed. It was wrong.”

Fast forward to today where those who stood so forcefully against segregation now apparently seem to be in total favor of it, at least when it comes to being vaccinated against COVID-19.

Those who refuse to get the vaccine are now banned from certain bars, comedy venues, and even some dance competitions in New York. The New York Knicks stated that they would only sell tickets to fans who could prove vaccination if they made it to the second round of playoffs. At other sporting events, if you can’t prove you have been inoculated or test negative against the virus, you are segregated into an area that stigmatizes you for it.

Carlson brings up the very valid point that if people are vaccinated and have virtually no risk of contracting the virus, why do they fear the unvaccinated so much? According to the conservative pundit, it’s all about control.

“But wait, you ask. Is this logical? Does it make sense? Why would people who’ve had the vaccine fear being near people who haven’t had the vaccine? Aren’t the vaccinated protected? Isn’t that the whole point of getting the shot?” Carlson asked. “Sure. well, maybe from a health perspective that’s technically true, if you want to be precise about it. But this clearly isn’t about health or science. It’s bigger than that. It’s about good and evil. It’s about discovering who’s a decent person, and who, by contrast, deserves to be punished for sin. It’s about finding out who has obeyed. Thankfully, once again, technology is coming to the rescue.”

And part of that control involves so-called vaccine passports which can take a number of forms, as Carlson highlighted with a video clip explaining the Immunaband.

Carlson also referred to New York’s “Excelsior Pass” and the ease with which your medical information can be hacked: “The Excelsior Pass entitles you to all the rights and freedoms you imagined you were born with, but that turns out to be entirely contingent on whether you do exactly what Andrew Cuomo says to do immediately.”

“Officials in New York have assured us the Excelsior Pass is totally safe – every bit as safe as a state-licensed nursing home – and it’s totally confidential. Your personal health information cannot be hacked by anyone — apart of course from hackers, people who actually try to hack it,” he continued. “Last month, a man called Albert Fox Cahn broke into the Excelsior Pass in just eleven minutes. But other than that, you’re completely fine. So more than a million people have downloaded the Excelsior pass so far. A victory for public health.”

He also posited that if authorities can exert this kind of control during the pandemic, why can’t they do it in other situations? Scenarios involving those suffering from HIV, Tuberculosis, or Hepatitis C come to mind. In fact, as he noted, why wouldn’t they? They have already set the precedent.

Gone are the days when judges ruled as they did in Washington in 2003 that the government could not force unapproved vaccinations on its citizens: “At the time, the Defense Department wanted to inoculate soldiers in Iraq against Anthrax, some soldiers didn’t want it. DOD tried to make them take it. The judge, Emmet Sullivan, stepped in. He said, ‘Absent an informed consent or presidential waiver, the United States cannot demand that members of the armed forces also serve as guinea pigs for experimental drugs.'”

Carlson moved on to note the left and the media stating that it’s Trump supporters, white men, and white supremacists who primarily don’t get vaccinated. They are allegedly the ones who pose a threat to public health and have to be dealt with.

“It’s always the same people, isn’t it? It’s those white Republican men, the very ones Joe Biden just told us today are more dangerous than ISIS. These are the people who’ve been beating up elderly Asian women in our cities, you’ve seen that plague unfold. These are the ones who don’t believe in science or decency. They’re the problem. Just the other day, Joe Biden’s grumpy little flack told us she’d found new ways to reach these recalcitrant mouth-breathers,” snarked Carlson, referring to White House press secretary Jen Psaki.

Carlson pointed out that vilifying white Republican men isn’t accurate: “We’ve heard that so many times that just the other day we decided to check the number, because not all the numbers you hear, even from the podium from the White House, are true. Here are the numbers, as collected by the U.S. government. As of two weeks ago, 50% of Asian-Americans had been vaccinated against COVID. That number among White Americans was about 40%. Among African Americans, it was 27%. Among Hispanics, it was 29%.”

“Turns out — and we know you’re shocked — what they told you is not really true. In fact, it’s a total lie, like everything they say. It’s the opposite of the truth,” he commented.

Carlson closed out with an admonition to leftists: “So this has implications. If we’re going to make the ‘unvaccinated’ sit in their own unfashionable little section at MLB games, that’s going to make for some pretty embarrassing photographs sometime soon. It seems like the new segregation looks a lot like the old segregation. You wonder how they’re going to explain that. We can’t wait to hear.”

People on Twitter were disgusted by the whole vaccine passport control mechanism:
