A convoy making its way through North London for a pro-Palestinian protest on Sunday allegedly used a microphone from one car to blast anti-Semitic tropes and threats of violence against Jews.
“F**k the Jews! F**k their daughters!” shockingly yelled a protester from one of the vehicles. ”F**k their mothers! Rape their daughters!” he broadcasted as the car made its way through London.
United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson was quick to respond shortly after the video surfaced to condemn racism and anti-Semitism: “There is no place for antisemitism in our society. Ahead of Shavuot, I stand with Britain’s Jews who should not have to endure the type of shameful racism we have seen today,” the prime minister tweeted.
Thousands of people marched through London to the Israeli embassy in Kensington on Saturday demonstrating against the ongoing conflict in Gaza. They chanted “Free Palestine!” and called on the UK government to take “immediate action” against Israel over the violence. Thirteen people were reportedly arrested and nine police officers were injured, according to The Guardian.

A number of politicians spoke out against the protest and demanded that London’s Metropolitan Police confront the demonstrators.

“This vile, violent racism is NOT welcome in London,” former Home Secretary Sajid Javid stated. “I expect @metpoliceuk to make it a priority to arrest these dangerous hate-mongers today.”
“This is disgusting antisemitism. There is no place for this hatred in the UK,” Home Security Priti Patel declared on Twitter. “I expect @metpoliceuk to be taking this seriously.”
“This, on the streets of London is deeply disturbing. Vile, criminal hatred like this must not be tolerated,” Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government Robert Jenrick also commented.
The Metropolitan Police replied that they were attempting to identify those who were in the video: “We are aware of a video appearing to show anti-Semitic language being shouted from a convoy of cars in the St John’s Wood area this afternoon,” the police tweeted. “Officers are carrying out urgent enquiries to identify those responsible. This sort of behaviour will not be tolerated.”
Shortly after that, the police announced they had identified at least one of the vehicles in the convoy and that they were looking for the suspect: “#UPDATE | Officers have identified the vehicle involved and are making enquiries to locate the occupants,” the police announced in a follow-up tweet. “Thank you to everybody who has shared information.”

The protest and the slurs against Israel come after a week-long clash between the Jewish state and Hamas. Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have reportedly fired over 3,000 rockets at Israel during that time. A building that was a Hamas hiding place and was shared with both Al Jazeera and the Associated Press was leveled by Israel over the weekend. On Sunday, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that his intelligence agencies had shared information with the United States on the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) airstrike.
Jews were also attacked on Saturday during a large pro-Palestinian rally at Nathan Philips Square in downtown Toronto. More than 5,000 Canadians marched in the streets showing support for Palestine in the Israel-Gaza conflict.

Palestinian members violently attacked Jews during the protest, striking them with makeshift weapons including a flagpole that boasted a Palestinian flag, CP24 reported.
Toronto Mayor John Tory noted that he had seen the video.
“I have been in touch with (Toronto Police) Chief James Ramer and have made available to him a video of a particularly disturbing incident which had been sent to me,” Tory remarked. “Hate, anti-Semitism and violence have no place in our city.”
