A still-employed Missouri school official reportedly wrote a memo to her district’s principals telling them to hide their critical race theory propaganda from upset parents.

According to The Daily Wire, which obtained a copy of the memo, in it Rockwood School District literary speech coordinator Natalie Fallert said that parents had begun complaining about the district’s CRT propaganda and that something needed be done about this.

But instead of telling the principals to perhaps eliminate the propaganda, which a number of high-profile figures on the left and right have called “dangerous,” she encouraged them to purposefully lie to parents by hiding the propaganda.

“This doesn’t mean throw out the lesson and find a new one. Just pull the resource off Canvas so parents cannot see it,” she reportedly wrote, referring to an online learning platform known as Canvas LMS.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, some schools have been using software platforms like Canvas to provide online instruction.

“Keep teaching! Just don’t make everything visible on Canvas. This is not being deceitful. This is just doing what you have done for years. Prior to the pandemic you didn’t send everything home or have it available. You taught in your classroom and things were peachy keen. We are going old-school,” Fallert continued.

What’s changed everything is that parents can now more directly observe their children’s curriculum by, one, accessing their Canvas accounts, and two, literally listening in on their kids’ online teleconferencing classes.

Fallert then told the school officials to create a fake Canvas entry for parents and send the propaganda to students by other means, including email.

“Anything that ‘could’ be picked apart I would suggest using this above approach… Again I wouldn’t throw it out, but you could just not give them access to the story,” she reportedly wrote.

Published by The Daily Wire on Wednesday, the memo sent shock waves through the community. One of the affected parents, Janet Deidrick, appeared on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” Friday morning to speak about her own reaction.

Listen:

She said she was “obviously pretty upset,” especially given her family’s far better experience in private school.

“We had made the switch from private because we thought that was better for him for high school, and we just weren’t used to that. In private school, there’s a tremendous amount of accountability between the school and and parents. And we were very surprised at this whole thing,” she said.

The hubbub originally started because of “Dear Martin,” a 2017 novel ostensibly about the racial hurdles and struggles faced by young black teens.

“That was the book that my child had in language arts, and when I had a chance to really go through the book … that kind of set off some bells for me, because why are you doing that? That belongs in a college anthropology course to me,” Deidrick explained.

According to her, the book is chockablock with “foul language,” “cop hate,” “alcohol use” and “girls talked about like they’re just simply pieces of meat.”

“No one has a right to read stuff like that to anyone’s child without their parents’ permission. … that book is inappropriate for children,” she said.

According to The Daily Wire, the district’s troubling curriculum also includes the following propaganda video about “intersectionality”:

The problem with “intersectionality” is that it’s a bigoted left-wing ideology that attempts to classify people into a hierarchy based on their race, their religion, their gender, their sexuality, etc.

According to “intersectionality,” white people are at the bottom of the hierarchy because they allegedly were always the “oppressors” in history. As such, their viewpoints and demands don’t matter.

Conversely, blacks and gay/trans people are at the top of the hierarchy and thus must not be criticized or spoken of negatively (unless they’re conservative).

The curriculum at Rockwood School District also reportedly includes a reading sheet that falsely states that “Michael Brown was murdered just steps from his mother’s home in Ferguson, Missouri.” The Justice Department of former Democrat President Barack Hussein Obama ruled this narrative untrue years ago.

What’s happening in Rockwood is no anomaly. Critical race theory propaganda is being peddled across the country, and the school officials in Rockwood certainly aren’t the first educators to be caught trying to hide the propaganda from parents.

As previously reported, teachers in one California county were instructed last year to begin indoctrinating their students in radical critical race theory propaganda and then hide the indoctrination from school administrators and their students’ parents:

Meanwhile, last year, one Philadelphia teacher brazenly posted tweets warning his followers to be careful about parents listening in on their online lessons.

As of Saturday, Fallert appeared to be gainfully employed, judging by her LinkedIn profile, though the school district had issued a statement to Fox News essentially condemning her letter to principals.

“The email that was sent to teachers encouraging them to hide or alter content visible to parents was not reviewed or approved by anyone before it was disseminated by an individual staff member,” the statement reads.

“It does not reflect the mission, vision, and values, of the district and is counter to the goals set forth in our strategic plan. The Rockwood School district encourages transparency and recognizes open communication is vital between parents and our staff.”
