Rush Limbaugh’s longtime producer, call-screener, and friend James Golden, widely known as Bo Snerdley, spoke with Mark Steyn on Fox News Monday and blasted the Democratic Party over the “depraved” and “insulting” talking point that black voters aren’t capable of getting an ID.
Snerdley slammed the left for standing against strengthening voter ID laws that would reduce fraud and restore faith in elections. They claim the reforms are racist but Snerdley contends the Democrats’ premise is actually extremely insulting to black Americans and racist in itself. “It’s depraved. Let’s look back: How long have Democrats and liberals been talking about ID as a problem for black people? It’s been over a decade,” Snerdley stated. Free ID can be obtained in many cases which also shoots down one of the left’s primary arguments against voter identification.
Companies lined up in Georgia and other states to protest election reforms claiming they would suppress votes. Those corporations included Dell, UPS, Home Depot, Delta, Coca-Cola, American Airlines, Apple, Microsoft, Citigroup, and many others. Liberals are claiming the voter integrity law in Georgia disenfranchises minority voters. Delta CEO Edward Bastian labeled the new law “undemocratic.”
Because of these companies pitching a fit and throwing the race card in Georgia, Major League Baseball caved to cancel culture and has now pulled the All-Star Game out of Atlanta and is planning to move it to Colorado. Ironically, Colorado’s voting rules are stricter than Georgia’s and they also require ID to vote.

Snerdley made a point that Democrats are all for illegal immigrants getting IDs and driver’s licenses. Somehow, he posited, they don’t seem nearly as enthusiastic when it comes to helping out the black community.
“So please, every African American in America ask yourself one question: How is it that the Democratic Party can make sure that illegal immigrants to America can get ID — so they can have legal drivers licenses, but you can’t have a legal ID so you can partake in American society fully?” he asked.
Then Snerdley brought up complaints of long lines to vote in Georgia which come primarily from black neighborhoods that are controlled by the Democratic Party.
“Why is it that Democrats insist that we have these long lines and Republicans, ‘evil that they are,’ won’t let us have water, which is a lie, by the way?” he further asked. It has been noted by other commenters that water is provided for free to voters usually but it has to be a number of feet from the line to prevent illegal electioneering from occurring.
“When you look in the [Georgia] bill, what it says is there can be self-serving water stations or beverage stations throughout — what they don’t want is electioneering — people coming up to you and asking you for a vote in exchange for a drink of water because Democrats left you in three-hour-long lines in your neighborhood.”
“So African-Americans ask yourselves one question. Why is it that black neighborhoods that Democrats run have long lines that require you to stand in line for hours and hours and hours when white folks and others in America don’t have the long lines? Republicans are not running those districts. Who runs your town? It’s not the evil Republicans. It’s your friends, the Democrats…”
Snerdley then highlighted that corporations at the center of the Georgia controversy seem to love the “magic number 2.” Delta and Coca-Cola each have 2 black people on their corporate boards: “It’s like okay, we’ve got two. Now we’re woke. — No, you’re not woke. You’re half asleep. And you should stop insulting and using black Americans for your political purposes.”
He stated that former President Trump received tremendous support and more votes from the black community than other Republicans because his words and actions actually helped them. Trump’s policies ostensibly did more for the black community than policies by the Democrats ever have.
“He didn’t play the pander game. He didn’t play the race-bait game. He treated everybody equally. Some people don’t like that. — He’s a guy that stood up and said, hey, I’m going to call it like I see it and not do this pander routine. You know what? I think African Americans are gradually and in more numbers than ever before sick of being pandered today, sick of being used as racial fodder by the Democratic Party,” Snerdley remarked.
