According to the bellyaching racial grievance mongers of the “woke” left, it appears even typeface fonts can be racist, or at least if they offend someone.

Take the typeface font used by actor Tom Hanks’s middle son, Chet, to promote his “White Boy Summer” line of clothing.

The black-and-white line of t-shirts, hoodies, tank tops, cotton shorts, women’s biker shorts, women’s leggings and snapbacks use a Gothic-style font that “is close to one used by white nationalists,” as noted by the grievance mongers at The Guardian.

“It’s also similar to the Fraktur fonts, which were used in Nazi Germany most prominently on the cover of Hitler’s Mein Kampf book,” the outlet reported Wednesday.

There was a similar reaction on Twitter, though it was hard to tell whether the bellyachers were just trolling or they were being dead serious.

So what exactly is all this about? Last Friday, Hanks published an Instagram video announcing that he had a “feeling” that a “White Boy Summer” was about to commence.

“I just got this feeling man… that this summer is, it’s about to be a white boy summer. Take it how you want. I’m not talking about Trump, NASCAR type white. I’m talking about, you know, me, Jon B, Jack Harlow type white boy summer. Let me know if you guys can vibe with that and get ready, ’cause I am,” he said.

Listen:

A day later, Hanks began releasing “rules” for this event.

“In his Instagram stories, he has released ‘rules and regs’ for White Boy Summer, further identifying the kind of white boys he’s talking about,” according to Vice.

“To Hanks, clothing like Ralph Lauren polos or Sperry topsiders are in the same league as NASCAR and Trump. They are not White Boy Summer. Salmon colored clothes are also not White Boy Summer. Try a white tee and Vans instead.”

Hear him explain the rules below:

To apparently bolster his point, he launched a line of White Boy Summer clothes containing the exact sort of gear that’s allowed.

He also launched a “Black Queen Summer” line of clothing reportedly inspired by his obsession with black girls.

Listen:

Not included in any of his videos and websites is the fact that he’s an accused abuser.

“The girlfriend of Tom Hanks’ son, Chester Marlon Hanks, has filed a protective order against him in Fort Bend County after he threatened and abused her on multiple occasions, court documents allege. Hanks, who goes by Chet, began dating his girlfriend in March 2019,” Houston station KTRK reported Wednesday.

His girlfriend is black.

“The first incident occurred on Oct. 18, 2020 at the Windsor Court luxury hotel in New Orleans while Hanks was filming for the show ‘Your Honor,'” KTRK’s report continued.

“According to the woman, the trouble began when she said she wanted to leave the hotel for food, but Hanks wanted her to stay in the room and order through Postmates. While they were out, his girlfriend alleges Hanks grabbed her wrist forcefully, saying that they were going back to the room.”

Nevertheless, Hanks is reportedly loved by black women — to the point that the biggest fans of his “White Boy Summer” event and clothing are black women, according to Vice.

And Hanks reportedly has a history of flying random black women out to see him:

But for some inexplicable reason, instead of focusing on his allegedly abusive and womanizing ways, the focus has turned to the “racist” font applied to his “White Boy Summer” clothes …
