The premiere episode of “Wine About It” debuts on BizPac Review with chilled wine and thought-provoking discussion on some of the latest hot topics.
Host Erin Elmore welcomed Baltimore-based former congressional candidate, Kim Klacik, to the debut episode, and raised glasses of We The People Wine as they shared views on issues including efforts to push the “woke” liberal agenda on schoolchildren, the latest censorship of conservative voices and more.
Sadly, conservatives live in a world that is dominated by liberal ideals. Whether it’s fashion, music, sports, politics, social media, or mainstream news, conservatives are forced to consume thousands of empty calories of undigestible woke garbage. Instead of complaining, Elmore decided to whine with WINE.
The author, attorney and political analyst kicked off her new show on the conservative news site speaking with Klacik, who was the Republican nominee for Maryland’s 7th congressional district last year. Though Klacik lost her bid in November, she made a lasting impact in the political world.
In the “Wine About It” episode, Elmore and Klacik discuss the recent demise of classic children’s books by the beloved Dr. Seuss. Klacik noted how the author is one of her four-year-old daughter’s favorites and the cancel culture attack on some of the classic books is only serving to hurt young children beginning to learn to read.
Citing education statistics in Baltimore, Klacik went on to criticize the continued closure of public schools in many parts of the nation due to the lingering coronavirus pandemic.
“A lot of what we see in cities like Baltimore is not racism, right? Everybody in charge is black,” Klacik said. “It’s classism. It’s like you said, the haves and the have-nots.”
The women went on to discuss children’s television programming that is also targeting children with messages about racism and other topics.
“As a mother, I don’t want television to be a parent,” Elmore said, citing the latest liberal efforts from Sesame Street and the Cartoon Network. “An animated character in tights or a fuzzy creature has no right to teach our children about the reality of racism.”
Klacik agreed, pointing to her personal experience in her own family as her husband is white.
“Here’s my daughter – she’s got a black mom and a white dad and we don’t discuss any of that. Nor does she look at us as any different. We’re mommy and daddy – not black mommy and white daddy,” she said.
After raising wine glasses in agreement, Klacik and Elmore rounded out the show with a hard-hitting discussion of “social media fact-checkers” and the silencing of conservatives on various platforms. Klacik argued that the scrutiny seems to only be leveled at conservatives.
Elmore’s new show is appropriately titled “Wine About It.” In upcoming episodes, she and her famous conservative guests will discuss the biggest issues facing those on the right. All this while sipping We The People Wine: an American-made wine brand that gives a portion of the profits to conservative campaigns and causes.
“Whether the grapes — I mean gripes — are aged or fresh, ‘Wine About It’ gives conservatives a much-needed-sip of sanity,” according to Elmore.
