Janice Dean dishes on treatment by ‘The View’ after hosts ‘sick’ Cuomo coverage puts her over the edge

Fox News senior meteorologist Janice Dean does not typically air her grievances in public, but she’s making an exception for “The View” after they refused to book her while showing their support for disgraced Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Dean felt “sick” that Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin of “The View” claim they would still rather have Cuomo than a Republican as governor of New York. They have evidently been stonewalling Dean for some time now about coming on the show to promote her book, “Make Your Own Sunshine: Inspiring Stories of People Who Find Light in Dark Times,” and to speak candidly on Cuomo. Harper Collins, her publisher, has been attempting to get her on the show to no avail.

Dean tweeted: “My publicist asked the @TheView several times if I could come on (to promote my book) but also as someone that could talk about @NYGovCuomo and what I’ve been doing for 10 months to raise awareness and accountability for my husband’s parents’ deaths. Guess what they said?”

Seven women have now come forward against Cuomo with credible accounts of sexual misconduct. Even more egregious are his alleged actions that led to the deaths of potentially thousands of individuals in nursing homes. He sent COVID-positive residents back into the homes where the virus spread like wildfire. Dean’s in-laws both died allegedly as a result of Cuomo’s mandate – they contracted the virus in their assisted-living facilities. That motivated Dean to go on a quest to expose Cuomo and she has been very vocal in her tireless effort to have him held accountable for his actions. As word spread that Cuomo actively covered up the numbers and manipulated the data on the nursing homes, Dean called for him to be thrown in jail.

Dean tweeted that co-host Sunny Hostin “can go on every day and bash other governors (calling the governor of Florida “Death-santis) instead of calling out Cuomo for ordering over 9,000 COVID patients into nursing homes, covering up their deaths and oh, sexually harassing at least 7 women.”

Hostin has constantly railed against Governor DeSantis. She claims that “Florida is going to kill all of us” because DeSantis is not enforcing draconian pandemic mandates.

The only one on “The View” that Dean has praised is co-host Meghan McCain. That’s because McCain is the only one to try and expose Cuomo’s crimes. At one point, McCain demanded that both the Cuomo brothers apologize to Dean. She tweeted on McCain: “I must say that @MeghanMcCain has been trying to shout for months about Cuomo, but when you have all the other women drowning her out and saying NO to her good friend who has been screaming for 10 months, it’s kinda telling where their loyalties are.”

Dean explained why she would want to go on “The View” in the first place. “People ask why I would want to go on that show? Because if even one of their viewers realizes @NYGovCuomo could be responsible for the thousands of lives we lost thanks to his deadly mandate, the criminal coverup and honor my husband’s parents, then it’s worth it,” Dean tweeted.

Dean said in a statement that the hosts’ (aside from McCain) continual downplaying of Cuomo’s scandals made her furious and that her appearance on “The View” two years ago to promote Mostly Sunny went well. She sarcastically added that she can “only guess” why they kept saying ‘no’ to her this time around.
