Hannity: Biden’s cognitive problems ‘getting scary’ – Joe seemingly ‘can’t form a sentence between naps’

Sean Hannity questioned President Joe Biden’s allegedly failing cognitive abilities on his Tuesday evening Fox News segment and then tore into the president’s illegal immigration policies.

The Fox News host pointed to Biden’s performance over the last two weeks and his inability to “form sentences” as well as his incoherence when speaking. Hannity pointed out that even when Biden uses a cheat-sheet with notes when trying to comment during a forum it doesn’t go well for the president. He stumbles and painfully can’t seem to get the words right in response to questions.

Hannity noted that the media loves to attack him, saying that Biden is “weak, frail, and seems to be struggling cognitively.” He contended that Biden appears to be somewhat lost and confused when making public appearances.

The news host mocked what was on the card that Biden carries with him… his name, his address, his wife’s name, just in case he gets lost. He mentioned that there was maybe a reminder not to mention the corrupt family business written down.

Biden’s mental state has been a point of contention since he first ran for the presidency with many questioning whether he was fit for office or not. Hannity went on to say this is now getting scary as Biden is supposed to be our Commander-in-Chief, that it’s the toughest job in the world and you can’t have someone unfit for the office handling it. Hannity concluded by stating that Biden seemingly can’t form a coherent sentence between naps.

The conservative firebrand then turned to Biden’s immigration policies and how illegal crossings are now way up due to them. He addressed how many of the illegal immigrants are children under the age of 18 and how Biden has had to open a facility for kids when he berated former President Trump for doing the same thing, calling it kids in cages. Biden allegedly claims this is different. Children are now being kept in trailers that look like shipping containers with bars on the windows under directives from the Biden administration.

Even New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez chastized Biden over the move. “This is not okay, never has been okay, never will be okay — no matter the administration or party,” she angrily tweeted.

In a separate tweet, the young New York Democrat wrote: “DHS shouldn’t exist, agencies should be reorganized, ICE gotta go, ban for-profit detention, create climate refugee status & more.”

The Biden administration has now reopened the temporary Influx Care Facility in Carrizo Springs, Texas, to house children who arrive at the border without parents. The facility can house up to 700 children with coronavirus safety measures put in place.

The site has been shuttered since July 2019, when Trump closed it after fierce criticism by Democrats that it inhumanely addressed the needs of illegal immigrant children.

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki why the Biden administration was reopening the facility at a press conference on Tuesday.

Psaki stated that the policy of the Biden administration was “not to expel unaccompanied children who arrive at the border.” She also said that the Border Patrol transfers migrant children to the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement. She defended the move by pointing out that COVID-19 protocols have reduced the capacity at existing facilities, so this one was reopened to take in the overflow of children.

“To ensure the health and safety of these kids, HHS took steps to open an emergency facility to add capacity where these children can be provided with the care they need before they are safely placed with families and sponsors,” Psaki replied.

Doocy reminded Psaki of Biden accusing Trump of keeping kids in cages and that Vice President Kamala Harris had stated that the Trump administration was keeping “babies in cages” and committing “human rights abuse.”

“How is this any different?” Doocy asked Psaki. Then things got even more combative.

“We very much feel that way,” Psaki testily replied concerning the Trump administration. “Let me be clear here, one, there’s a pandemic going on. I’m sure you’re not suggesting that we have children right next to each other in ways that are not COVID safe, are you?”

“I’m suggesting that Kamala Harris said that putting people in this facility was ‘a human rights abuse committed by the United States government’ and Joe Biden said, ‘Under Trump, there have been horrifying scenes at the border of kids being kept in cages.’ Now it’s not under Trump, it’s under Biden,” Doocy shot back.

“This is not kids being kept in cages,” Psaki spat. “This is a facility that was opened that’s going to follow the same standards as other HHS facilities. It is not a replication, certainly not, that was never our intention of replicating the immigration policies of the past administration. But we are in a circumstance where we are not going to expel unaccompanied minors at the border. That would be inhumane. That is not what we are going to do here as an administration.”

Psaki deflected and said that once the migrant children in question receive adequate care they will be transferred to their families or sponsors.
