CPAC pulls hip-hop artist Young Pharaoh as speaker after ‘reprehensible’ anti-Semitic slurs surface

The Conservative Political Action Conference has officially disinvited hip-hop artist and YouTuber Young Pharaoh as a speaker after “reprehensible” antisemitic slurs surfaced on his social media timeline.

CPAC issued the following statement: “We have just learned that someone we invited to CPAC has expressed reprehensible views that have no home with our conference or our organization. The individual will not be participating at our conference.”

Evidently, there was quite a list of disgusting anti-Jewish tweets that were issued by the young YouTuber. In June 2020, he tweeted: “THERE IS NO #HISTORICAL OR #SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE PROVING THE EXISTENCE OF #JEWS OR #JUDAISM… ITS ALL A COMPLETE #LIE.” The tweet also stated: “GO GET THE BEST #JEWISH #SCHOLAR YOU CAN FIND & ILL EXPOSE #RELIGION AS BEING COMPLETELY MADE UP FOR #POLITICAL GAIN.”

Leftists and the media are attempting to tie the despicable tweets and the artist to former President Trump. But the performer had nothing to do with him. Trump is historically one of the strongest allies Israel has ever had and his son-in-law Jared Kushner, married to Ivanka Trump, is Jewish.

Other tweets are now coming to light as well. On Jan. 3, the Buffalo, New York-based artist replied to a tweet by The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro on the definition of ‘amen’: “@benshapiro “AMEN” IS A STOLEN TERM BY THIEVING #FAKE #JEWS FROM THE #EGYPTIAN DIETY #AMEN MEANING “DARKNESS, SLEEP, & SUBCONSCIOUS..IT IS USED IN PRAYER TODAY AS A RITUAL HYMM SYMBOLIZING THE SLEEPING STATE OF THE MIND THROUGH #MONOTHEISM ..THE HEBREW #LANGUAGE I MADE UP FANTASY.”

There were a number of other tweets in the same vein.

The American Jewish Committee initially exposed Young Pharaoh’s tweets for public scrutiny. After that, he was disinvited from CPAC which may not have vetted him previously as views expressed on his social media timeline obviously proved problematic.

“CPAC leadership must denounce his antisemitic conspiracy theories and act to ensure that Jew-hatred has no place at the conference,” the AJC tweeted on Monday.

Media Matters also documented a number of past tweets by the performer. Eric Hananoki, one of their reporters, highlighted on Twitter several instances of Young Pharaoh’s slurs and smears against Jews. He tweeted the list out: “1) Judaism is a “complete lie”; 2) Jewish people are “thieving”; 3) and “all the censorship & pedophilia on social media is being done by Israeli Jews.”’

The musician also wrote that Big Tech, the media, and social media are all controlled by the Chinese Communist Party and by Israel “through Jewish CEO[s].”

The hip-hop artist is a Trump supporter who urged young black men to vote for Trump. He was scheduled to speak on Sunday during a segment titled: “Please Check the Number and Dial Again: Doubt, Dysfunction, and the Price of Missed Opportunities.”

Young Pharaoh has scheduled a YouTube response for Tuesday to address CPAC’s move against him. He has branded the disinvite as “censorship at its best” by CPAC.

CPAC is a project of the American Conservative Union (ACU) and is the largest yearly gathering of conservatives nationwide. There will be dozens of speakers there including former President Trump. The theme this year is ironically entitled “America Uncanceled.” This will be Trump’s first public appearance since leaving office.

Trump is expected to include in his speech a “big thank you” to his supporters.

Many are asking how Young Pharaoh got invited to the event in the first place and it is a certainty that CPAC will be reviewing their invitation process and standards.
