Greg Gutfeld: Sorry America, Biden’s got eyes for the world, just ‘isn’t that into you anymore’

Fox News host and conservative commentator Greg Gutfeld quipped on Friday’s episode of “The Five” that President Joe Biden was “breaking up with the American public” so he could hook up with our “hot new exotic partner, the world.”

Gutfeld went on to list a series of foreign policy problems that Biden does not have to contend with thanks to policies put in place by former President Trump.

“A new slogan for Joe, instead of ‘America First,’ it could be ‘America, you are not all that’, or ‘America, it’s not me, it’s you,’ because in a sense, Joe Biden is breaking up with the American public in favor of a hot new exotic partner, the world,” Gutfeld snarked. “It’s very alluring, it’s got an accent, it’s international, makes you feel cosmopolitan when you get to fly all over the place. But sorry, America, Joe just isn’t that into you anymore.”

But Biden is in good company according to Gutfeld. The complicit media has been hard at work demonizing Trump’s foreign policy pushing the notion that it has “taken America off the stage.” Therefore it only makes sense in their viewpoint that Biden should undo everything that Trump accomplished.

“Joe entered this picture never being asked about North Korea. Why is that?” Gutfeld wondered. “Because it’s not a problem. Who made that not a problem? A guy named Trump.”

“Remember that was the biggest problem that was what Obama told Trump coming in… the biggest problem North Korea he said that to him, and then all of a sudden the biggest problem goes away, then you have a plethora — a word I love to use — of Middle East peace plans. You got the trade deals, you got Mexico stepping up on the immigration, you have something that I like to call no new wars,” Gutfeld continued.

“He killed an Iranian general who killed a lot of people, he killed a few terrorists. He had a pretty phenomenal foreign policy resume and I think the media pretends it was terrible because he was an outsider who kicked the insiders’ a**,” Gutfeld went on. He also pointed out that the former president had exposed former Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry as “incompetent charlatans.”

Gutfeld is no fan of President Biden’s and has made that clear from the beginning. He just recently mocked CNN and coverage of Biden for his Oval Office fires and his early bedtimes.

“We’ve just learned from our hardworking colleagues at CNN, that President Biden has expressed a preference for building a fire in the Oval Office. And, sometimes he adds a log to keep it going,” quipped Gutfeld.

Biden addressed a global audience on Friday, declaring that “America is back, the transatlantic alliance is back,” in effect negating Trump’s “American First” edict.

He spoke to the annual Munich Security Conference virtually. Biden went through a list of foreign policy goals that ranged from “salvaging the Iran nuclear deal, meeting economic and security challenges posed by China and Russia and repairing the damage caused by the coronavirus pandemic.”

’I know the past few years have strained and tested the transatlantic relationship,” Biden intoned. “The United States is determined to reengage with Europe, to consult with you, to earn back our position of trusted leadership.”

Biden also took part in a virtual meeting of the Group of Seven industrialized nations.

“Welcome back, America,” fawned European Council President Charles Michel.
