A group of Antifa and Black Lives Matter demonstrators stormed through the streets of Manhattan on Sunday. They were wearing black-bloc attire, helmets, and brandishing shields. The group attacked a female social-media journalist for “supporting Trump.” They also chanted, “Whose mother-f**king streets? Our mother-f**king streets” and “What’s that noise? F**k the Proud Boys,” as a larger crowd of protesters assembled behind their formation.
The group numbered approximately 25 and lined up in an intersection in Manhattan to begin a march to Times Square, independent journalist Andy Ngo stated in a video from journalist Dean Moses. The demonstration was in response to a rumored MAGA march at Columbus Circle.
BLM activist Joshua Potash also captured videos showing the march through the streets of New York City. As they proceeded through the city the group grew in size. The police were uninvolved and ineffectual.
Social-media journalist Tara Szczepanski reported and videoed herself being assaulted by some radicals from the rally. She reported having an egg smashed on the back of her head. She was assaulted by at least two men. One sprayed her with a chemical string and another appeared to strike her with a skateboard.
“Our mother f—kin’ streets!”

“She’s a f**king Nazi,” one man shouted. “She supports Trump; why are you protecting her?” Then the man with the skateboard smacked her. She kept yelling for them to get their hands off her.
In another video, you can see the intrepid reporter being harassed and attacked by a larger group. Then you see a person outside of camera-view reaching in and smashing an egg on the back of her head.
Szczepanski tweeted: “Attacked at a #BLM #Antifa #NYC rally, smashed egg in my head, hit with umbrella, spat on, knocked with a skateboard as the crowd says, don’t protect her she’s for Trump.”

She went on to tweet: “Footage caught across of when I was trying to get away, and I’m screaming to get off me, they hitting me with the umbrella and then knock my equipment, when I picked it up they smashed the egg and hit me in the head, then knocked my phone off.”

The female journalist ran to the NYPD officers who were in attendance and then was attacked again right in front of the police. She stated that “they told me to stay 6 feet from them and let me be attacked.”

You can make a safe bet the response would have been far different if the march had been by Trump supporters.
Also seen in the video, is a demonstrator in a cop costume wearing a pig mask. He shoves a microphone in her direction. That character is seen in another video harassing police officers.

The so-called anti-fascists held signs speaking out against the police and made a show of force and intimidation by lining up just as the police do. They also dragged an American flag on the ground. Not very original but certainly effective in messaging.
One woman held a sign saying “Trump Lost! Fascists Get Out!” and “Trump/Pence Out Now!”
The groups have protested like this for a long time now but things are ramping up. Over the weekend, there was a tense and violent faceoff between Trump supporters and Antifa in San Diego. In Portland, there was vandalism and attacks on government buildings. This looks like it is just getting started. Further violence is feared.
The media is nowhere to be found on this. They are too busy discussing the threat that President Trump, his supporters, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) pose to America. It’s ironic that those allegedly trying to save the nation are now painted as the greatest threat, while those actively trying to destroy it are hailed as heroes.
