Georgia Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff pushed a lie about his Republican opponent live on the air while addressing Fox News viewers.
The Senate-hopeful was in the midst of a live interview with Fox News on Wednesday when he attacked incumbent GOP Senator Kelly Loeffler for allegedly “campaigning with a Klansman.” The Democrat shared the video on his Twitter account, again accusing Loeffler of something that had already been debunked.
“FOX News walked up rolling live, and I appreciated the free air time!” Ossoff tweeted along with the video clip.
“Right now we have a crisis of corruption in American politics. And since we’re live on Fox, let me take this opportunity to address directly the Fox audience,” he said in the Fox News video as he turned to face the camera directly.

Ossoff “humbly and respectfully” requested the support of Fox News viewers after touting plans to raise the minimum wage, address the health care crisis and invest in infrastructure in the state of Georgia while he accused Loeffler and GOP incumbent Sen. David Perdue for “using their offices to enrich themselves.”
The Democrat attacked Loeffler over a controversial photo with a former member of the Ku Klux Klan once Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked about the scandals surrounding Democratic candidate, Rev. Raphael Warnock.
“Here’s the bottom line: Kelly Loeffler has been campaigning with a Klansman,” Ossoff said.
“Kelly Loeffler has been campaigning with a Klansman and so she is stooping to these vicious personal attacks to distract from the fact that she’s been campaigning with a former member of the Ku Klux Klan. I mean, we deserve better than that here in Georgia,” he declared.
But Loeffler’s campaign had already addressed the photo that had sparked the reports, noting that the Republican lawmaker did not know who the man was who posed with her at a campaign event last week.
“Kelly had no idea who that was, and if she had she would have kicked him out immediately because we condemn in the most vociferous terms everything that he stands for,” Loeffler’s campaign spokesman, Stephen Lawson, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The man in the photo, Chester Doles, was reportedly a former leader of the Ku Klux Klan. He was sentenced to prison in 1993 for the beating of a black man.
“This is Georgia’s GOP,” Ossoff’s communications director, Miryam Lipper, wrote, retweeting criticism from Progressive Jewish advocacy group Behind the Arc.

Rep.-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene told the AJC that she had had Doles removed from a Loeffler event back in September.
“Yes, I asked him to be removed. He is not welcome at any events that I attend. Period,” the Georgia Republican told the outlet. “I don’t know him and have no relationship with him. He’s not a donor and has never worked for the campaign.”
Sarah Polus, a reporter for The Hill, had added fuel to the fire after the photo surfaced, writing that the senator’s campaign defended the photo with Doles in a piece headlined: “Loeffler’s campaign defends photo with white supremacist and reported former KKK leader Chester Doles.”
The reporter was called out for pushing a lie and The Hill soon changed the headline.
Earlier this month, you guys had to correct your story on this.
Now Ossoff is lying about it multiple times.
Why are you guys pushing Democrat talking points again?https://t.co/TPMf4C8WhM

“The headline on this story was updated at 8:45 p.m. to reflect that Sen. Loeffler condemned Chester Doles, a white supremacist who posted a photo with the senator,” an editor’s note at the bottom of the Dec. 13 story read. “An earlier version of this story included incorrect information.”
While Ossoff’s attack racked up thousands of views and “likes” on social media, mainstream outlets continue to ignore or play down controversial allegations about Warnock. The left celebrated Ossoff’s charge, praising him for “solidarity” with his fellow Democrat challenger.
Imagine having someone go that hard for you like Ossoff just did for Warnock

Other Twitter users noted that Fox News did not call out Ossoff during the clip and liberals have been happy to spread Ossoff’s charge.
Well it’s not like the msm is going to correct him, they want him to win.

They all do it now. Democrats and almost all of the media. Tell lies over and over until in the minds of too many people it morphs into truth and gets repeated even more. We must never drop our guards and go on offense.

Why not? They got away with the Charlotte talking points for years even though it was proven wrong almost immediately.

It’s what the Dems do……LIE….they have no problem with it and their base eats it up!
