In what comes across as a potential parody more fitting for a comedy show but is somehow being presented as actually reporting, CNN claims that President Donald Trump — with everything that he has on his plate, both domestically and internationally — is in a grumpy mood because of he disagrees with the revised decor approved by First Lady Melania Trump at the Mar-a-Lago resort that he owns in Florida.
CNN White House correspondent Kate Bennett told obsessively anti-Trump anchor Jake Tapper that “there were a number of renovations that happened a Mar-a-Lago the past few weeks, and they were led…by the First Lady who really enjoys design and aesthetics, but apparently might not have been on the same page as the president when he arrived at Mar-a-Lago this week. He was not pleased with some of the renovations he saw…[it] kicked off the holiday trip in sort of a bad, grumpy way.”
In an all-too-familiar technique deployed by the corporate media over the past four years, this scoop — if that term even applies — is based on unnamed sources.
Bennett also claimed that there is a “weird vibe” around the club. That feeling could also apply to CNN, the network that the president famously described as very fake news, for its questionable business or ideological decision to go all-in for around-the-clock Trump bashing that often focused on petty or make-belief controversies and ignoring developments unfavorable to Democrats.
In appears to be a form of projection that liberals routinely engage in, Bennett added that “It is a very confusing time for those who know him best,” which, again, could perhaps describe CNN as it anticipates even more viewership erosion when Trump leaves the White House to move full-time to Florida, whether at Mar-a-Lago or somewhere else in the area.
Watch the video clip that Tapper, who believe it or not anchors a show called “The Lead,” thought was so newsworthy that it needed to be shared online:

Tapper also bemoaned the fact that Trump is playing a lot of golf, an avocation that Jake seemingly never complained about when Obama was regularly hitting the links as president. Tapper punctuated his remarks on the channel that often touted itself as “the most trusted name in news” by claiming, without evidence, that President Trump was “resoundingly rejected by the American people” in Election 2020.
Through the confirmation bias filter, Trump foes on social media accepted the CNN report at face value, but common-sense Twitter users reacted differently. Here is a sample:

Thank god firefighter @jaketapper is focusing on real news and not Warnock’s abusive summer camp and willingness to run his wife over…

Jake Tapper, who likes to dish it out, also got roasted this week for complaining that President Trump retweeted a “mean” tweet about him by Mark Levin.
