Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton slammed the media’s “corrupt suppression” of the story on Hunter Biden and warned that the scandal is a “RICO case” that potentially implicates his father.
Speaking with former White House press secretary Sean Spicer on Newsmax Tuesday, Fitton explained how all of the evidence surrounding the younger Biden’s foreign business dealings expose the level of corruption that may also involve “the incoming president of the United States, assuming he’s installed.”
“This was a corrupt suppression of a news story to help a favored political candidate. And it’s not just a Hunter Biden scandal and a Joe Biden scandal, and I guess, a James Biden scandal, Vice President Biden’s brother,” Fitton said.
“It’s an FBI scandal, a Justice Department scandal because they covered this up prior to the election,” he said, adding that it is also a Congressional scandal.

“Remember Adam Schiff tried to remove President Trump from office for asking questions about Biden corruption that were well-founded,” Fitton asserted, referring to the California lawmaker who led Democrats’ impeachment sham against President Donald Trump.
“And now the media, we’re supposed to believe the media’s analysis of this scandal. I tell you what, the American people have been ill-served by the media that purports to represent them. You can’t trust the media to tell you the truth about anything,” Fitton said.
New York Post columnist Miranda Devine slammed the mainstream media earlier this month after reports on the contents of the younger Biden’s laptop were “actively suppressed.” Devine told Fox News that it was a “ruse” to get their presidential candidate, Joe Biden, over the finish line in November’s election.
The liberal media came under fire in recent days after Hunter Biden acknowledged that he is under federal investigation over his “tax affairs” and that the grand jury probe through the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware has been going on since 2018. U.S. Senate committees also released a damning and lengthy report exposing the Biden family’s ties to Ukraine and China.
News outlets dismissed the “conspiracy theories” and refused to cover the New York Post’s October report on Hunter Biden’s laptop and the findings of his foreign business dealings.
Fitton called out so-called journalists who have not been doing their jobs and noted that the country is in a “rule-of-law crisis” over the lack of trustworthy information on the Biden family.
“If Hunter Biden weren’t the son of Joe Biden, we probably wouldn’t have much interest in it, but on top of that, we have evidence that Hunter Biden’s business dealings benefitted his father,” Fitton continued, pointing out how the reports that the investigation is solely on his tax affairs cannot be accurate, as any probe would also be looking at his father.
“This Is a RICO case,” Fitton argued, referring to the 1970 federal Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations law that allows prosecution of all individuals allegedly involved.
“It involves potentially the incoming president of the United States, assuming he’s installed,” he added.
The younger Biden’s announcement of an FBI investigation over tax matters “is confirmation that we were right, and that big tech was lying to you by suppressing information about the Hunter Biden scandals,” Fitton said in a separate statement last week.
He added that “it’s not because they [the media] didn’t believe it, it’s because they’re liars.”
“Now you may recall that I spoke with Giuliani on this issue, and he highlighted that there was more than enough evidence to indict Joe Biden months ago,” he said. “The media downplayed this purposefully and dishonestly.”
