GOP Congresswoman-elect Beth Van Duyne is calling out Obamacare for its fundamentally faulty premise. “The Affordable Care Act was one of the biggest lies that has ever been promulgated in U.S. history. The fact that you’re going to be able to keep your doctor; it’s going to lower your health care costs; it’s going to increase your quality — those were all lies. That did not happen. In fact, it was quite the opposite,” the soon-to-be U.S. Rep. asserted.

In 2013, even the liberal Politifact organization described President Obama’s statement that Americans can keep their health plan of choice as the lie of the year.

The law that was jammed through on a straight party-line vote by the Democrats, which Joe Biden once described as a “big f*****g deal,” has resulted in skyrocketing premiums and exorbitant co-pays and deductibles, rendering the coverage in some instances merely theoretical. The corporate media and the Democrats, however, continue to insist that Obamacare — the constitutionality of which is currently pending before the U.S. Supreme Court — is popular.

In an interview with Fox News during which Van Duyne addressed healthcare policy as it relates to the misnamed Affordable Care Act, the former Irving, Texas, mayor also spoke out against the illogical, one-size-fits-all nature of Obamacare.

“Van Duyne wants to ‘personalize’ health insurance plans by need, arguing a healthy twentysomething should not have to purchase the same level of coverage as someone with an ongoing medical condition. Her overall goal is to increase access to care, improve quality and decrease cost.

“The solutions the new congresswoman suggests include making health insurance portable and not dependent on the employer, buying insurance over state lines, expanding group coverage, increasing the amount of Health Savings Accounts and making health care premiums tax-deductible.”

Van Duyne, the winner of a  close election in the Fort Worth/Dallas area, is one of an extraordinary number of high-energy, pro-Trump, female GOP candidates elected to Congress in 2020, favors continued protection for pre-existing medical conditions and insists that a repeal of Obamacare only makes sense if a replacement program is in place.

You may recall that she appeared in Dan Crenshaw’s “Texas Reloaded” campaign commercial that some say is the greatest political ad in history.

“I don’t think that you can repeal without having a replacement. I think that Republicans need to make sure that that is a focus over the next two years on providing those choices…I think that you need to have as many choices people could make [so] that they will not want to buy any of the ObamaCare plans because they are expensive,” she noted.

Obamacare turned out to be a joint venture between Big Government and Big Insurance and in no way streamlined the hassle of dealing with the latter that existed prior to the enactment of the law.

Van Duyne, 50, more or less got into politics 20 years ago after clashing with an insurance company over needed multiple eye surgeries for her then- newborn daughter who was born with complications. “I don’t think any parent should have to fight to make sure that an essential critical surgery that needs to be performed on their child is covered,” she said.

The lawmaker recently told Ainsley Earhardt on Fox & Friends that she is ready to roll up her sleeves and pragmatically work with moderate Democrats to get things done for the American people when she gets to Congress. She criticized the Democrats for trying to push a “destructive” radical agenda, plus the Russia collusion hoax and impeachment, rather than, for example, a job-creating infrastructure bill that would have boosted the national economy.

“I’m really hoping that you’ve got Democrats who are willing to stand up and speak out against radical Twitter trolls that have taken over and hijacked their party,” she declared.
