Author and activist Candace Owens leveled singer Noah Cyrus after she used a racial slur against her in a social media attack.

Owens called out the younger sister of pop star Miley Cyrus following a back and forth over actor and singer Harry Styles for wearing a dress in a photoshoot for Vogue. Cyrus attempted an apology after being slammed online for referring to Owens and others as “nappy ass heauxz” when she tried to defend Styles.

The war of words began after Owens addressed former One Direction singer Harry Styles and his photo on the cover of American Vogue, wearing a ball gown and Gucci jacket.

“In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence. It is an outright attack,” Owens tweeted last month, making an appeal to “bring back manly men” which prompted Styles to respond with a photo of himself eating a banana.

Cyrus also chimed in, apparently to defend Styles from Owens, setting off an inferno of backlash.

“He wears this dress better than any of u nappy a** heauxz,” Cyrus wrote using the derogatory language on her Instagram story.

Owens came after Cyrus in a response tweet on Wednesday.

“Any one of woke liberals care to explain to me how @noahcyrus calling me a ‘nappy ass hoe’ is not racist?” the Blexit founder asked. “I’m all ears.”

“You guys love cancel culture. @MileyCyrus come get your sister!” Owens added.

There seemed to be no road to redemption for the 20-year-old Cyrus who attempted to mend everything by putting out an apology message claiming she didn’t know the real “context and history” of the slur.

“I am mortified that I used a term without knowing the context and history, but I know now, and I am horrified and truly sorry. I will never use it again. Thank you for educating me,” Cyrus wrote.

Not many on social media bought her excuse, however.

Owens shared a few comments on Twitter, retweeting other users who may not have supported her views but backed her on the issue with Cyrus.

Other Twitter users continued to slam Cyrus over her original, offensive tweet.
