Not only are election results in Nevada still too close to call, now officials in the state are saying it will be another day before there can be an update on the numbers even as President Trump’s campaign announced that it will “immediately” seek a recount in Wisconsin.
Nevada’s six electoral votes will remain in limbo as the state’s updated election results will not be released until Thursday morning. Poll workers were still counting mail-in ballots and potentially “tens of thousands” of provisional ballots so no new vote totals would be reported, according to election officials. Meanwhile, reports of “irregularities in several Wisconsin counties” have prompted action by Trump’s campaign.
“Despite ridiculous public polling used as a voter suppression tactic, Wisconsin has been a razor thin race as we always knew that it would be,” Bill Stepien, Trump 2020 campaign manager, said in a statement Wednesday.
“There have been reports of irregularities in several Wisconsin counties which raise serious doubts about the validity of the results. The President is well within the threshold to request a recount and we will immediately do so,” he added.

“That’s it for election results updates until 9:00 am on Nov. 5. Here’s what has been counted so far,” the Nevada Elections Division tweeted in the early morning hours Wednesday.
“All in person early votes. All in person Election Day votes. All mail ballots through Nov. 2,” the tweet continued from the state won by Hillary Clinton by 2.4 points and more than 27,000 votes in 2016.

The latest figures from the Associated Press showed Democratic nominee Joe Biden leading over President Donald Trump, 49.2% to 48.6% with only a few thousand votes separating them. But the elections office in the state noted that provisional ballots, mail-in ballots received on Election Day and any more that will be “received over the next week” are still to be counted.
“Ballots outstanding is difficult to estimate in Nevada because every voter was sent a mail ballot. Obviously, not all will vote,” the elections division added.

In Clark County, which includes Las Vegas, “tens of thousands” of mail ballots still had to be counted, according to Nevada Independent editor Jon Ralston, Newsweek reported.
“These have dramatically favored the Dems so far by more than 2-to-1. Biden should do well there,” Ralston said. “There are also tens of thousands of provisional ballots in urban Nevada and some in the rurals. Less sure of that mix, but the Clark mail, if it follows the previous pattern, may be enough for Biden.”
Trump’s campaign and the Nevada GOP filed a lawsuit ahead of the election trying to temporarily block ballot-counting in Clark County but Carson City Judge James Wilson blocked the effort.
In remarks made as the numbers trickled in Tuesday night into Wednesday, the president warned of the “fraud on the American public.”
“This is a very big moment. This is a major fraud on our nation. We want the law to be used in a proper manner. So, we’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court,” he said. “We want all voting to stop. We don’t want them to find any ballots at four o’clock in the morning and add them to the list. It’s a very sad moment.”

The State of Florida deserves tremendous credit!
After 2000, they retooled their election processes.
Last night, FL processed well over 10 million ballots before Nevada decided to call it quits after processing a little over a million votes.
